You can see couples making out on almost any free bench around Lima (a product of a live-at-home-until-you-are-married culture), and yet this park does still have an extra special air of love about it. Perhaps - ok, definitely - because of the giant kissing statue by artist Victor Delfín, showing a loving couple in full embrace. The beautiful sea view, the flowers in near-perpetual full bloom, and the love notes and quotes tiled into an artistic, wavy muraled wall that circles the park also help.

This park is a unique place to stroll along the wonderful cliffs landing in the ocean in the midst of Lima. It’s clean and nicely landscaped, has twisting trails taking you far away, probably switching to other parks along the shoreline.

Set in Miraflores, this beautiful park is a favorite for sweethearts and newlyweds. The mosaics with inscriptions of love and the sculpture of two lovers ("El Beso") are the work of Peruvian artist Victor Delfin.

Parque del Amor...the Love Park, is almost Gaudi-esque with its tiled sculptures/park seats. I was most fascinated by the love poems and words of endearment that is inscribed by tiles right on to the park's arts. We also saw quite a few couples in love at the park...so sweet.

Parque del Amor is a park on the edge of the beach that was inspired by Parque Guell in Barcelona. Its wavy walls and mosaic tiles do remind us of the Gaudi work and on the center we have a monument of a kissing couple, where you can usually spot brides taking their engagement photos on weekends.
