This spot in the West Village is famous, and rightly so, for their absolutely awesome deserts. The coffee was so-so, and the waiters a bit lax, but their cannolis are a slice of heaven, and their other desserts (I had a napoleon as well) are likewise outstanding. A great spot for a recharge or a post-meal treat while you're wandering the village.Recommended for:Foodies

Table service isn't the greatest, but the desserts are heavenly. I purchased some of the mini desserts and brought them home to share with family. A mixed berry gourmandise, a chocolate chocolate chip cannoli, a mini Napoleon and a few other things. They were all first rate.

It was last year, but I still feel terrible every time I pass by. I passed by this store today and I decided to write a review because I felt terrible and still upset. We visited here to chat. There were so many tables available. We had to wait more than 5 mins to be seated. we were seated at a weird spot between outside and inside. We didn't like it. So, we asked if we could move to another table. the waiter said OK, but then another waiter came like 2 minutes later and he was so upset and complained(threatened) us why we sat there. I tried to explain and tried to talk to the first waiter, but then the manager came by and asked to leave if we don't like their attitude. I still cannot believe. The manager was like "So what? I am the manager here."

It's worth just walking by Rocco's front window to drool at the pastries in their cases. We grabbed some cookies to go, and so avoided what other people say is mediocre service and they were delicious.
