This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've in my whole life. I lived in Italy for one year and I truly know Italian food. This restaurant is stunning! Dishes are big and tasty. The lasagna is awesome. The Italian soda with cream is a must have. The waitress are kind and efficient. You will love it!

Once a no-man's land of UP students, blue-collar families, and industrial areas, North Portland is now feeling the vibrant revitalization that Northeast Portland got before it. In the last decade, it's been attracting hipsters, artists, small business owners, and others who previously might've chosen the Hawthorne or Alberta neighborhoods as places to call home. Definitely worth visiting for the great ...Popular withFoodiesTrendstersDesign

"I love the smell of tobacco in the morning... The smell, you know that cigar smell... Smells like, victory" Actually, I don't smoke and I never have. But since my Dad was an occasional cigar and pipe smoker, those smells have always been a comfort to me. So when I'm in the neighbourhood, you'll find me at a Cigar store ...

Tropical Salvage reclaims old, quality hardwood in Indonesia and gives it new life in solid furniture. In doing so, they create fair trade, conservation supportive jobs in Indonesia and enable consumers to choose wood products whose availability does not depend on harvests of standing trees. Wooden Duck of Berkeley has a similar approach, except a lot of their furniture saves ...

Northwest Portland's Studio Blue Pilates offers a few dozen pilates classes every week; they also have fitness training and yoga classes. The teachers here are friendly and the atmosphere is non-competitive. Unfortunately, they don't have a parking lot, which can make parking difficult during peak hours, but it's close enough to the Pearl District and downtown Portland to walk.Popular withWellness

First of all, the owner is a real hoot. Here's a guy who is really into his store concept, his merchandise, and his neighbourhood. He probably makes many of his sales on the sheer force of his personality. Dig features larger decorative and practical macro-garden items, some of which are neatly artistic in nature. And most would be to large ...

I've got a big head, which I could attribute to intellectual brain power. Gayle would say that a lot of that space is taken up with useless information and weird thoughts. Practically speaking, any hats less than 7 & 7/8 or XXL don't fit, and in most situations outside of a Tilley Hat, that presents a problem. The only reason ...

The Fields Neighborhood Park is the newest park in Portland's Pearl District. I came across it on my recent visit to Portland and decided to do a walk through. There is a children's playground in front. The rest of the park is just full of short grass and areas to sit. Mostly saw people lying on the grass doing sunbathing ...Popular withDesignOutdoorFamilies

This is a fun store to wander around. Staff is friendly and the store is layed out in a comfortable and well-considered fashion. The lounge chairs, TV area, and ping-pong table were all pretty cool and inviting for shopping or just hanging out. And I'm sorry I wasn't in town for a First Thursday event.Popular withAdventure

My son has certain anxieties including wanting to be picked up or dropped off on time and worrying about running out of gas.
