My friend suggested this restaurant as a Denver landmark and it lived up to expectations. As their website says "With a history that spans more than 80 years, Patsy's Italian Restaurant is Denver's oldest Italian restaurant. Founded in 1921...". So I think they've figured out how to make some good Italian dishes. I had the Fried Trout plate and it was wonderful (going to Colorado I always seek out trout and this was one of the best). Others in our party had spaghetti, and chicken dishes. Everyone was quite happy with the taste and serving size; prices are very reasonable. For my first visit, our server was helpful to give some advice and she took good care of us for the evening. The premises are old style offering an interesting atmosphere; quite a historical piece of furniture in the bathroom (see photo)!
