The burger competition in London is fierce, and opinion is often divided, so you should be prepared to draw your own conclusions (it's rare to get a bad burger these days!). Patty and Bun is up there with the best, and the location makes it an excellent alternative to the many surrounding overcrowded and overpriced eating options of Oxford Street. Don't leave without trying their chicken wings either.Recommended for:

Go on, take a bite. First, your teeth strike the brioche bun, then make their way through to the pickled onions, to gooey cheese and finally the piece de resistance...the juicy meat. This is definitely my favorite burger in London at the moment.Recommended for:

The Patty and Bun has its priorities straight: the best-quality ingredients come out on top, and shine in a no-frills, laid-back atmosphere. All the products used, from the meat to the vegetables, are locally sourced whenever possible, and the freshness is palatable. The star of the menu, the Ari Gold, starts with a generous patty of grass-fed Aberdeen Angus beef, topped with gooey cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickled onions, ketchup and the signature Smokey P&B mayo, all on a brioche bun. If you want to try something with a superbly unique flavor, go for the Lambshank Redemption, a lamb patty with coriander (cilantro, for the Americans in the audience) and chilli, topped with lettuce, buttermilk baby courgettes (zucchini), pickled aubergine (eggplant), cumin aioli and feta.Recommended for:

Burger mania is hitting London with Five Guys and Shake Shack opened recently and other restaurants making more high-end burgers. Patty and Bun is one of the more popular local restaurants. I had the "Ari Gold" burger which is a classic cheese burger. All of their burgers are topped with a brioche-style bun. It tasted great and is ideal for those looking to fulfill an American fast food kick without resorting to McDonald's.Recommended for:
