So you wanna go fishing, have a lil picnic, or enjoy a nice place to take pictures; you have found your park! I definitely use this place as a start and conclusion to bike rides down the Rio Hondo trail.
I see a lot of families come here and enjoy this park. The entrance is very difficult to find wedged between a business and a bunch of townhouses. The bad thing about this park is that it closes at 4pm!!! So make sure you are not parked inside if you will be there after that. They will chain and lock it with the big swinging gates. However you can still walk or ride your bike in.
They have restrooms and park benches. A number of the plants even have info on what they are. There are grassy knolls , trails to walk, jog, or meander around. One of the locations with benches is on a promontory with a great view of the reservoir that this park is next to.
So if you ever want a chill place to take a date for an afternoon or lunch time picnic, check this place out! its great stuff.
