Both humans and their pets are pampered at the Peninsula Beverly Hills. Your dog is sure to appreciate the personalized towels and plush doggy beds, and when meal time comes around, your foodie pooch can order off a special menu that includes gourmet dishes like the “Bow Wow Beef Burger” and the “Spot’s New York Strip.” Thinking of ordering a late-night drink to the room? Don’t forget to get your pup his own martini (made with beef bouillon, of course).Recommended for:

This is a great property. Service is exceptional. Rooms are in a very traditional style (not my preference, but very tasteful) but the roof top bar and restaurant have a very luxe Asian resort feel.Recommended for:

Voted one of the top hotels in North America by our very own gogoboters! Beautiful antique classy decor from inside out! What a luxurious hotel, great customer service and gem in LA!Recommended for:

To clarify, I have never stayed overnight at The Peninsula, but I have had Afternoon Tea and a massage at The Peninsula Spa. Both experiences are 5 stars! First, Afternoon Tea. Amazing. The first time I went was for my birthday with several girlfriends. We sat on two couches in The Living Room and were delighted by the sweet and savory confections presented to us! We started with champagne, strawberries, and homemade whipped cream. Every sandwich and pastry after that was delicious. A friendly woman played the harp behind us, and the staff was so nice. The Living Room itself was beautiful with classic, golden decor. Now, on to the Spa. I got a Swedish Massage and no joke--it was the best massage I have EVER had. I would go back. For these two experiences, you get what you pay for.Recommended for:

I absolutely adore this hotel and I don't think I've experienced better service anywhere, ever. The fact that the Peninsula gives all repeat guests his or her very own pillowcases, with the individual guest's personal monogram, says it all. At the Peninsula Beverly Hills, no demand is too large or too daunting and guests are pampered at every turn. One of my favorite perks at this hotel is the carwash the valet provides, free of charge, to visitors of the hotel. The free carwash is also a privilege extended to spa guests, making the Peninsula Spa a winning choice on any occasion. Opulent and luxurious, the Peninsula might offend those who prefer understated luxury and subtlety, but this is Beverly Hills.

This Peninsula in its classic renaissance décor is incredibly beautiful and luxurious. The room is rich, elegantly and especially comfortable. Service was professional and surprisingly personable. Its trendy bar offers innovative cocktails that are delicious. The Spa, the outdoor couples massage set under the moonlight is incredibly romantic, but the massage itself was just average. The hotel is set on this serene corner just off of Wilshire Blvd., mins from major shops in Beverly Hills.Recommended for:

I had won a trip in 1996 to LA all expenses paid and we were put in the Peninsula, a 5-star hotel. Our room for the time was very expensive, about $500.00 U.S. a night. The service was friendly and some of the people who were with me and couldn't speak had the pleasure of being addressed in French. We also were welcomed by the hotel manager as we got out of our limousine. A hotel employee brought us pitchers of lemonade and iced tea with almonds to welcome us. A group of concierges arranged for us trips to Disneyland and Universal Studios and everything went well. They even arranged for us reservations in some of the local restaurants. When I went to the top roof where the jacuzzi and swimming pool was and told an employee I would have liked to use the gym but didn't have the proper clothes to wear, he said that he would arrange it for me. We had also whenever we asked for it a private driver and Rolls-Royce at our disposition. The view from our room was awesome and it was so quiet. When I called to have a dress dry-cleaned, it was back in my closet the very same day. Our bathroom was so big I couldn't believe it but we could have held a meeting in there. I would go back there again. I really enjoyed having tea in the tearoom there and for the price we paid for the tea and also to get coffee, it was quite reasonable in spite of being a 5-star hotel. We also television and movie stars there with us without even trying to see any.

Beautiful hotel, really nice staff, and very clean. This is what you would expect from a Beverly Hills hotel. I was here at a wedding and the rooms were amazing. The reception halls were nice and quaint and the food was perfect. The upstairs pool was amazing and the back villas looks awesome. I wish I could afford one of those. Overall a very nice experience and very well run.

Since its change of management just recently, I hate to share this is not the same Peninsula. Note the Peninsula Hong Kong (flagship), Tokyo, Chicago, New York, and others are all co-owned and amazing. Only now, of the Peninsula properties, the Beverly Hills Peninsula is owned by another entity with management that does not appear to hold itself to that same level of excellence. On a positive note, I can share that if you are looking for spectacular property with consistent superb warmth and care, amazingly appointed rooms, and luxury that is beyond, there is now the newly refurbished Hotel Bel-Air (closed for 2 years; under new management reopened in 10/2011) where you will get what you are paying for.... It's the best hotel in the Beverly Hills/LA area bar none. (Note I do not work for them, nor am I being paid in any way to say this :). Hope this is helpful!

This is the place for celebrity watching. Known as the ultimate private hideaway for the high-powered and high-profiled crowd.
Everything is exquisitely tasteful and when necessary discreet (English tea in the Living Room, lunch at the world-class Belvedere restaurant and an evening at the Club Bar is a dealmaker's deream den, whether closing a three-picture pact or an assignation with one of the lovelies lining the room).

Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool, a health club, a spa tub, a sauna, and a fitness facility. The property's full service health spa has massage/treatment rooms and beauty services. This 5.0 star property has a business center and offers small meeting rooms, secretarial services, and a technology help desk. High-speed Internet access is complimentary throughout the hotel.
