Next To New Thrift Shop

Next to New is in a small white house on Kelly Ave, just off of Highway One. Every corner is full of used clothes, housewares, books, jewelry and collectibles. The place is tidy and everything is well-cared for. I like to start in the rear of the store, stepping outside into a shelf-lined metal...


Savers RWC is one of my go-to, always find something cool or a great deal thrift stores. It's pretty well organized and like most thrift stores, there's usually an in-store special. My best find? A Calypso ware tray set that I bought for $5. I replaced a broken part using eBay ($65) then sold it for $275....

Family Tree

Family Tree is my favorite types of thrift store. It's a small store run by volunteers to benefit the Family Service Agency of San Mateo County.
