The JW Marriott of Lima is a clean, comfortable hotel with a great ocean view, and within walking distance of some very nice restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay there, and look forward to going back.

    Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge

    Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge

    Class:
    4.5
    6 reviews

The Sanctuary Lodge is all about location. This is a great place to stay for relaxing easy access to the ruins. That said, the pricing is exorbitant for what is basically a 3 star hotel. Service is excellent but at 1,100 USD a night during our stay, it was hard not to feel gouged. Rooms are very basic. There are ...

I was with a tour group and found my stay a great experience. Staff was wonderful and food delicious. The breakfast buffet was fantastic!!! My room was extremely clean and beautiful. They were very helpful as when we went on our trek to Machu Picchu, they kept some of our things safe and sound until we got back. They also ...

Excellent! - 89% of guests recommend

This hotel is the ultimate in old-school opulence. I've only been here for conferences and events, so I can't attest to the rooms, but I can't imagine they'd be anything but elegant given the beautiful state of the rest of the hotel. The grounds are green and gorgeous and the building itself, built in 1927, is a colonial-style estate that ...

Sheraton Lima Hotel & Convention Center

    Class:

Excellent! - 86% of guests recommend

An awesome place to stay while in Lima, with everything you need right within walking distance. The historic square/center is about a 10 minute walk away, while next door is a big shopping plaza filled with shops, a food court and a supermarket. While Miraflores is not within walking distance, Sheraton offers a FREE shuttle service to/from Larcomar. From there, ...

    JW Marriott Hotel Cusco

    JW Marriott Hotel Cusco

    Class:
    5
    1 review

After a painstaking six-and-a-half-year restoration, with intermittent halts as Inca and pre-Colombian artifacts were excavated, this former 16th-century convent has finally opened. The property manages to respect Spanish colonial elements (brick colonnades, an interior cloister, flagstone patios) while providing modern comforts (enormous beds, rain showers, Wi-Fi). The hotel is set within the landmark district, a definite advantage for exploring the ...

We enjoyed this property so much, it was one of the highlights of our stay in Peru. The views, the grounds, food everything was lovely. The only negative experience I had was the ride with the El Paso horse. The grounds in certain areas were so bumpy, that my horse injured it's leg. I'm glad it happened to me and ...

When originally booking this hotel we thought it was downtown Lima only to find out it's not in the center. You'll still have to cab to all of the shopping and activities in the city. But the neighborhood is relatively safe although there isn't much to walk to. The hotel itself is nice and the service is excellent.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. It reminds me of a 90's Marriott. All the amenities you would expect. While in a busy area there isn't too much walking distance but there is a Starbucks a block away.

This hotel is in the Miraflores district of Lima. It is nice and the rooms were clean. The staff was friendly enough, but the service wasn't outstanding. They have a bar/lounge that is open 24 hours, although when we got in around 10pm it took a little bit of hunting to find a bartender. The breakfast buffet in the morning ...

This hotel is also in the Miraflores of Lima. It is the middle tier of the Casa Andinas. The location is good, and the hotel is clean. They have a bar and a buffet breakfast as well. Also they have luggage storage (which most of the area hotels do) which comes in handy for the early checkouts and late night ...
