    Astrid y Gastón

    20 reviews

Upscale restaurant serving traditional Peruvian dishes. Great food, nice ambiance, and you only pay one third of the price of a comparable place in the US. Highly recommended.

    La Mar Cebicheria

    11 reviews

Not the only cebicheria in Lima, by any means, but has a fun atmosphere and great food. Friendly staff and bartenders that can pour a good pisco sour, (or crack open a bottle of cristal or cusqueña).

    Pastelería San Antonio

    8 reviews

This posh bakery-slash-café-slash-deli franchise is one of my favorite places in the city. If you want to grab a bite, you come here. Do you want some coffee? Come here. Do you want to buy bread for your breakfast? Come here too! If you find yourself in that "I don't know what to eat" state of mind (as I usually ...

    Brujas de Cachiche

Great place for a variety of Peruvian food. Given how much the Lima dining scene has blown up these past few years, I have a sneaking suspicion that this restaurant isn't so "cool" as it once was. I think it will stay as an oldie but a goodie. For a classic Lima dish they do well here, do the lomo ...

    Cicciolina

My favorite restaurant in Cusco. The walls are red and have big paintings, it's incredible. The food is delicious.

    Pachapapa

    6 reviews

Pachapapa is so great that we went twice during our 7 day trip to Peru. First for the famous pizza with cured alpaca and second for the guinea pig. Both were so unique and delicious! The outdoor dining area is nicely surrounded by heat lamps for those cold nights in Cusco and the local brewed tea sure will warm you ...

    Paddy Flaherty's Irish Pub

    7 reviews

The bar was packed when we visited. The bartenders weren't very interested in helping you, and they were out of the few draft beers they had. How can an Irish pub not have draft beer?. The Guiness was bottled?!? The other people in the bar didn't seem like they wanted to talk with people outside their group either. Very odd ...

    Restaurant Huaca Pucllana

    5 reviews

A stalwart of the Miraflores restaurant scene not to be confused with the nearby pyramid ruins, from which it takes its name. With its Peruvian and international menu, as well as location, this place often shows up in top 10 restaurant lists and deservedly so.

    Malabar

    5 reviews

Malabar by chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino has been ranked among the 100 best restaurants in the world, and it certainly deserves that title for its innovative menu that takes Peruvian ingredients to a new level. Think: native potatoes made to look like rocks, yucca "shells" died with squid ink, and nests of strips of dried alpaca. While the price tag ...

    Inka Grill

    6 reviews

I found this a reasonable restaurant at the Plaza de Armas. It looks very trendy and chic, but the food is just ok and prices are relatively low. They serve some common local dishes like the Ají de Gallina and several Pisco drinks, which I didn't try, but the bar looked promising.

    El Mercado

    4 reviews

OMG, really, this place has the best ceviche I've ever had in my life. El Mercado is located on a cross street from Avenida La Mar, where most fancy cevicherías are located, but this is one of the few places where you almost won't find tourists (yet). The ceviches are a piece of heaven, entrées and desserts are worth saving ...

    Norkys

    4 reviews

Great Value, delicious and comforting foods, Norky's is a chain of parilla /bbq/rotisserie restaurants that are frequented by locals and adventurous visitors. We had a very delicious and inexpensive meal and we still talk about how great (good food and good prices) that meal at Norky's was.

    Arabica Espresso Bar

    4 reviews

Once you try an espresso made with freshly roasted beans from Arabica, you will never be able to enjoy your chain-store brew again. David Bisetti, the man at the reigns of an independent coffee shop push in Lima, inherited his love of coffee from his grandfather who opened a roasterie in 1958. He sources his beans from within the country, ...

    Jack's Café

    5 reviews

Jack's was one of my favorite restaurants in Cuzco because all the dishes use really fresh produce and it is a good alternative to all the Peruvian restaurants in the area. This restaurant is expat run and operated and so it naturally attracts a lot of tourists. I think this is a perfect lunch spot that will provide you with ...

    Segundo Muelle

    4 reviews

CEVICHE!!! SO many varieties offered as well as an extensive seafood menu. Yes, the prices may be considered on the expensive side, but you are paying for cleanliness, safety and your health. The staff was on par. Ambiance was elegant but casual. They have outdoor seating but with big windows to help against the weather.
