Imposing structure that was the world's tallest for a number of years. The design of these towers is largely influenced by Islamic art motifs, thus paying homage to Malaysia's Muslim traditions while displaying modern architecture and construction.
The mall at the base of the towers is a good place to stay cool from the outside humidity and heat.

The iconic twin towers are a must-see in KL. Whether you love architecture, shopping (there is a shopping mall located underneath with all the major brands), take a photo, go up and walk across the bridge for a 360 view (or feel like Catherine Zeta-Jones in Entrapment)...these towers are truly (at) the heart of this multi-cultural city. Not sure if worth the payment to go all the way to the top, but going up to walk across the bridge is free. You will want to get there early as there are only limited number of tickets given out per day.

engineer marvel in the center of city. those towers stand on a big pedestal which is a mall, suria KLCC. the mall is great, they have a park to stroll and see the twin towers. it's best to see the towers on the afternoon.

This was the highlight of our KL trip. The Petronas Twin Towers are the tallest in the world right now. We took probably close to 500 photos black and white, Color Popping, Close range, Long distance. We went up in the tower to the observation deck. And we went to eat at Chili's. Also there is a shopping mall inside on the first 6 floors.

To me, this is THE place to visit when you're visiting Malaysia. It's amazing and breath taking this tower looks in person.
Tip: To get the best picture, walk through the mall, go around to the back where there's a pool & walk about 1 mile out so you can see the whole tower.

Get your tickets or don't get them at all. That was the advice I was given so I go there at 9am and was ready to head up for my afternoon tour. It's pretty cool as you get to walk the connecting bridge between the two towers. The towers are imposing from anywhere in the city and it's worth the trip to see center of what makes Malaysia's economic engine run.

Also known as the twin towers of Kuala Lampur, Malaysia, the Petronas Twin Towers were finished in 1998. And from 1998 to 2004, they were the largest building in the world. The Burj-al-Khalif in Dubai is bigger, but Petronus is still the biggest twin-tower in the world. It was actually bigger than the World Trade Center. At night, it is majestic in it's beauty.
