I've seen the original Phantom of the Opera in NY & the acting & singing in this performance is just not as good but the decor, costumes, set & pyrotechnic work that they had here during this show was just AMAZING & AWESOME!! =)
They made the show look more like the movie rather than the original Broadway show... =) I'm just disappointed that they had cut a lot of the singing out compared to the original version..probably to get you onto the casino floor 2 loose more money 2 the casino..hahhaa... =)
OVERALL, if you LOVE Broadway Shows & The Phantom of the Opera, this is a definite MUST see.. =)

I enjoyed the show. This version of the classic Musical is unlike others I have seen. It was a very different experience that is uniquely Vegas. I felt like I was immersed in this imaginary world. No longer was I just another audience watching the show from afar.
The performance and singing were good though not the best I have seen. The stage design is simply specular. I am not going to spoil the show for you. Just go watch it already. Oh yeah, don't be late or you will regret it.
Phantom is easily one of top must see shows in Vegas. If you happen to be there on a not so busy day, try getting one of those half priced tickets.Recommended for:

I knew the music before actually watching this show. Because its in Vegas, the show is not like your typical Broadway that has intermission in between. I was slightly disappointed as the show was only an hour or so. You get the story but the show is cut to a shorter version. But overall I recommend it because the singing was bravo!

In its last week of performing (ends its running in LV September 2, 2012), Phantom LV is a slight abridged version of its Broadway brother that is truly spectacular. The stage set and special effects are really awe inspiring. It is such a treat to be able to watch this beautiful musical in its "vegasized" glory.

What a show. I've been to this one twice, ones sitting in the orchestra area, both times equally as impressed. The theatrical and musical element in this play is magnificent and perhaps one of the most ostentatious. The drama and atmosphere of this play changes drastically across different acts. Really one of must-see in Vegas for a musical enthusiast.

The most spectacular show in Vegas. I have seen it twice and could see it every night I was in Vegas. A must see for anyone who wants to see one of the most magnificent musicals in the most beautiful theatre in Vegas! Don't sit too close, you have to be able to really see the chandelier in all it's glory!
