Funky, cool and chic, I'm really digging the Kimpton Hotels I've been to thus far - San Francisco, Baltimore and now here in Philadelphia. The Hotel Palomar converts a historic downtown Philly space into a perpetual Austin Powers cocktail party. Speaking of which, I absolutely love their daily afternoon wine receptions! Guestrooms are smart and comfortable. Great centralized location to ...

Stayed here for a wedding last March. Very nice room. The place is humongous! We also had brunch in their Restaurant 13 which was very good. We are going to book rooms here for my daughter's wedding next summer including a brunch as well.

Hassan at the front took care of me and checked me into the 31st floor, which was an absolutely beautiful view of downtown Philadelphia and the rooms were equally spectacular. So incredibly chic and modern, yet large and spacious. This was definitely a luxury stay. Yet, the prime location is what really made this hotel a standout. It's just one ...

It’s all about the luxury and the views. The hotel is right on the waterfront and perfectly situated for some beautiful sunrises, strolls, jogs, or lazy afternoon gazing on the terrace. Everything is up-to-date and top-of-the-line, fitness center, pool, flat screens, video check-out (that was a new one for me!). If anything it’s a little too modern--It felt odd visiting ...

Fantastic hotel to experience Philadelphia's beautiful downtown. The rooms were fantastic - so much space and very nicely decorated. I especially enjoyed the glass-encased pool area. Very accessible and inviting hotel, I'd love to come back!

A stunningly beautiful hotel in the heart of the University of Pennsylvania campus, right next to the Wharton School of Business. I was so taken aback by the unique design of this place. They merge that scholarly hardwood aura of an Ivy-League professor's study with the finest of luxury accommodations. It's both refined and wonderfully comfortable. As a communications guy, ...

I thought this hotel was fantastic! I got a room with two beds, and the room was an okay size for the city, I've been in smaller trust! The bathroom had all of the accoutrements I would expect, and a fantastic bathtub to boot! But what I didn't expect...the beds, more specifically the bedding. I have to tell you, I ...

Every once in awhile a very special person (me) meets a very special place (the Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia). What happens next is magic. I love this hotel. It's built in an old, but oh so grandiose downtown bank building. It feels like a palace, and the staff treat you like royalty. I'd come to Philly just to stay here and not ...

I stayed here for about a week during a professional conference. Our room was very nice with the LCD screen and Sleep Number Bed. The bathroom was a bit small and the temperature control was inconsistent. The staff really nice, friendly, and accomodating. The restaurant/bar was a very nice suprise with great drinks and delicious and reasonably priced food.

The location is weirdly great. Its sandwiched on the second floor of a multi-story center city building. This keeps it relatively quiet even though its really smack dab in the middle of center city. I love the concept of this hotel - affordable, business-oriented lodging for affiliates of member organizations. It's also a comfortable and relaxing place to stay in a great central downtown location. Beyond this, I wasn't thrilled with the amenities and I got kind of weird vibe with the clubhouse dynamic. I found it hard to be invisible, which for me ...

Charming and romantic location. This is a great spot to bring your partner for a quiet weekend exploring old Philadelphia. The Rittenhouse Square neighborhood is ...
