    Alma De Cuba

    7 reviews

One of my favorite restaurants in Philly! Alma de Cuba is a modern spin on traditional latin dishes from Cuba, Peru and other countries latin america. The atmosphere is lively and fun, the prices are high, and the food is amazing. The ceviches are good, as was a roasted pork dish I tried. Great cocktails as well.

    Parc

    12 reviews

Parc is a really great restaurant with an extensive wine list and very knowledgable servers. Everything I've ever ordered has been flavorful and rich. I'm only giving it 4 stars because it can be a bit stuffy and uninviting while waiting to tell someone at the front desk about your reservation. In a city as great as Philadelphia, there are ...

    Talula's Garden

    3 reviews

After dining at the Talula’s Garden I knew that I got new favorite restaurant in Philly. I wish I could give more than 5 stars to this place – for food, service, menu selections, ambiance… Yes, it’s kind of expensive but well worth it. The owner’s love for artisan cheese translates into fantastic selection offered as several collections with intriguing ...

    Amis Restaurant‎

My First dinner in Philadelphia was awesome. I was watching Unique Eats on the Food channel and they did a feature on Amis. I was going to Philadelphia in two weeks so I bookmarked it. Wow, good thing I did. The food here is awesome. We got there at 7 pm without reservation, they were packed, but I mentioned we ...

    Fogo De Chao

    3 reviews

Love this place! Skip lunch and go hungry. So much food! The salad bar is enormous and the different types of steak is amazing. The waiters come around with various types of steak, chicken, lamb or pork and if you want it they will slice it onto your plate.

    Barclay Prime

    4 reviews

I sat in the "lounge area" (very front of the restaurant), and had excellent service. Appetizers and sides were delicious but not innovative. The real treat of the night was the steak. This is the best one can get for miles around, and it is worth every penny. The other dishes, not so much. Make reservations a few days in ...

    Zahav

    6 reviews

The closes restaurant to my hotel (not already in the hotel) is Zahav. It also happens to be one of the highest rated. How lucky can I be. Within walking distance and oh so delicious. The ambiance is perfect for dinner with your friends. Music was playing, but not blaring. Lighting was just right, not dim at all. Service was ...

    El Vez

    7 reviews

Fun, loud, great sangria. True Mexican? Not quite. Decent food? Absolutely. Want something authentic? Try the taquerias around the Italian Market. Want something a little more upscale with a liquor license? This is your place.

    Vedge

    5 reviews

My very favorite special occasion restaurant. It is a little pricey but the food is incredible and you cannot believe what the chef is able to do using all vegan ingredients. It has very nice ambiance, even if you need to sit at the bar as we did, and the drinks are delicious as well. Everything fresh and organic. I ...

    The Dandelion

    5 reviews

Easily the best British-like food and atmosphere you'll encounter outside of England. Pretty expensive, but the food is totally worth it.

    Di Bruno Brothers

    5 reviews

This tiny retail store packs a serious punch. A wallop. Literally made Anthony Bourdain ecstatic when he visited on a show whose title had something to do with Layovers because they sold a cheese he had been searching for incessantly, but could find no where else. My most foodiest friend and I had brunch nearby and I suggested we stop ...

    Green Eggs Cafe

Very popular brunch place in town. And there's a reason. Their red velvet pancake is really interesting! The portion is generous, and very home-cooking. I loved their chicken pot pie came out on a skillet. Egg dish is always a good choice. There is a wide range of vegan, gluten free, vegetarian menu.

    Rouge

    6 reviews

With street side seating overlooking Rittenhouse square, Rouge offers one of the best seats in all of Philly. People flock here when the weather is nice to sip wine and hang out. The prices are a little steep, but the wine selection is good and the french-style food is tasty if not super memorable.

    Nineteen - XIX

    2 reviews

Both visitors and locals can agree that there are few views of the city better than the one at Nineteen - XIX. Like many other luxurious Philly attractions, this rooftop restaurant exudes elegance, from the plush booth seating to the chandelier hanging from the high ceiling. Catch the sunset over the city during its 5-7pm happy hour ($6 cocktails and ...

    Buddakan

Love this restaurant. The food is great and the service is absolutely wonderful. When we asked if we could get one of their specialty drinks as a pitcher, the manager was so nice and made an exception for us. Also the cauliflower dish they make is so delicious. They even have a vegetarian menu option if you ask for it ...

    Reading Terminal Market

Terrific indoor market with lots of fresh meat, fish, produce as well as cooked food. Excellent chocolatier too. Philly's finest and much cleaner than the Italian market.

    City Tavern

    6 reviews

The Olde City Tavern isn't just that place where the waitstaff wears colonial period costumes. This is the actual location where America's founding fathers dined over deliberating over a revolution! The restaurant stays true to its colonial tradition by serving up the favorite dishes and recipes of the time. They even went out of their way to serve drinks out ...
