Our first stop on out historical tour of Philadelphia. A trip to Philadelphia would not be complete without visiting the Liberty Bell. It's FREE to get into the hall. Security to get in of course, but it was quick on this day. Not a problem for me anyways. I say better safe than sorry. When you get in, you'll see ...

Great museum for all ages! The walk-thru of the heart is a must do, and the temporary exhibits the museum puts on are usually worth the extra price of admission.

The best view is from the river, but short of that, the boat houses can be seen from the opposite shore as well. The view is so picturesque, you'll think you're looking at a postcard!

One of my favorite museums in Philly. My latest visit was to view the Maya 2012 exhibit. I had hoped for a little more with this exhibit. The general museum collections are great. My kids decided they liked this museum once we saw the mummies and Egyptian collection.

Cute little street, known as one of the oldest continuously occupied streets in the country, takes you back in time… Almost every house (historical, to be precise) has an iron boot scrapers at its doorsteps. Some courtyards are open to the public to wonder around. People actually live in these houses now, and it’s fun to watch when they come ...
