It’s all about the luxury and the views. The hotel is right on the waterfront and perfectly situated for some beautiful sunrises, strolls, jogs, or lazy afternoon gazing on the terrace. Everything is up-to-date and top-of-the-line, fitness center, pool, flat screens, video check-out (that was a new one for me!). If anything it’s a little too modern--It felt odd visiting ...

When I walked into this hotel, I felt as though I had entered an airport on a busy day. The place was bustling. Later I learned from a kind staff member that a citywide convention was in effect, so it makes sense that the hotel was buzzing and booked solid since it’s connected to the convention center. Also connected? A ...

Hassan at the front took care of me and checked me into the 31st floor, which was an absolutely beautiful view of downtown Philadelphia and the rooms were equally spectacular. So incredibly chic and modern, yet large and spacious. This was definitely a luxury stay. Yet, the prime location is what really made this hotel a standout. It's just one ...

A stunningly beautiful hotel in the heart of the University of Pennsylvania campus, right next to the Wharton School of Business. I was so taken aback by the unique design of this place. They merge that scholarly hardwood aura of an Ivy-League professor's study with the finest of luxury accommodations. It's both refined and wonderfully comfortable. As a communications guy, ...

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel! I booked the room after being given a tour of my room options (I wasn't sure if I wanted a suite all to muyself). The Warwick was once one of Philly's grand hotels, but it is definitely starting to show its age a bit. The lobby has recently been restored and is truly beautiful, with polished marble floors and chandeliers. Stepping out of the elevator to go to your room is a bit of a shock, though, as the hallways seem very dated, with ...

Very nice high-rise convention hotel. It meets all the basic requirements for comfortable business travel. My only big complaint is location. It's only 2 blocks from the convention center, but in an area that feels like downtown is tapering off. I really enjoy being in the heart of things in Philly and this feels off center. The height of the ...

This hotel is tucked off in a corner of cobblestone streets in Old City. When looking from the outside in, I assumed that it would be a bit dark and cozy inside. I was pretty surprised to enjoy an airport hotel so much. There is so much available inside the big, towering hotel that I didn’t really notice I was outside the city. There’s a pool, fitness center, restaurant, bar, lounge/work area, burger shack (what? cool!), computers you can use, and a weird amount of space to just wander around in. Seriously, ...

I walked in to the cheerful staff decorating the parlor room for the holidays together. They immediately dropped what they were doing to assist me. The atmosphere was so warm and unique. I was charmed by the Victorian bedroom decor, which managed to feel very comfortable, relaxed, and homey. There was a writing desk, positioned under a tall window, afternoon ...
