This is my favorite Philz location in SF. There is a separated room with lots of seating and free wifi.
If you haven't tried Philz, you must! It's the best drip coffee in California, I promise. I get Jacob's Wonderbar Brew. If you let your barista choose the default level of cream and sugar, it might be too sweet. I usually tell them to add a tiny bit of each and I love it. They'll even throw in a mint leaf if you ask. The iced mojito coffee is also delicious, but it doesn't have any rum or limes. Sorry.

Love Philz Coffee! Iced mint mojito!!!! This particular Philz is warm; it's from the coffee making but they have little ventilation. They have a side room where customers can sit and get work done; this room was pretty warm as well. Baristas and employees are nice though. My friend and I came here because we were waiting to be seated at Brenda's French Soul Food a block away.

Must get the mint mojito! It's one of their more popular items on the menu, but you really can't go wrong with anything you order here. =) Would definitely recommend coming here to start off your day!

Philz is one of the best coffeehouses in San Francisco. Period.
While they don't do espresso, nobody does handmade drip coffee like them. Every blend has a unique flavor, so you're up for a new adventure in coffee each time you visit.
Hot? Try the iced Philtered Soul. Its slight sweetness is perfect for those of you—like me—who drink this stuff black.
Cold? The Mocha Tesora—the chocolate version of their house blend—exudes strong essences of chocolate that'll warm your soul right up.
If you're a fan of Turkish Coffee or Chai, they have their own well-made versions of both.
This current locations just remodeled with more seating and a bagel shop. If you haven't visited yet, this is the time!

First thing I did with my friend when I went to SF to visit her was meet her here and had coffee/tea.
Great service and great coffee. Freshly brewed and mixed before you. I thought the price was cheap for the quality of the coffee and tea.
You can bring your own mug like other places. How greeen! I love it.
