Walking in to this hotel from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok you feel like you’re in a chic haven. The rooms are basic but cosy and cater for a range of people from single travellers to families. The grabbing factor of this funky hotel is the communal spaces which offer the chance for travellers to share their stories with fellow travellers. The eating area is cool and a great place to start your day. There is also a garden which is amazingly green which gives this hotel tranquillity in the middle of Bangkok. This hotel is extremely child friendly and even offers some children’s toys and a space for them to play in. Close to the hotel are some famous attractions including the Grand Palace, Dusit Zoo, Sanam Luang and Khoasan Road. To travel around there are plenty of taxis available or the riverboat is not to far either.

An incredible nice hotel. The best place to stay in Bangkok. The whole hotel is made with a lot of love to details. It´s very cosy and so different to all the "normal" hotels. The staff is very friendly. And the view from the terrace is amazing.

Loved staying in this hotel. The rooms are very affordable, the staff are really lovely, the pad thai is yummy and the hotel grounds and rooms are very unique. It felt very peaceful and the garden decor is cute. Even on the upstairs roof top is a vegetable garden, so the food you eat there is fresh and organic. A little hard to find the place at first as its in a small suburban street, but after that you'll know where to direct the taxi. If you want more of a unique boutique earthy and affordable hotel experience, this is the place to stay!

Description:

If you're looking for a nice place to stay in Bangkok, or searching for a Bangkok Boutique Hotel, there are so many choices that it may be hard for you to decide among them. If your focus is not big chain hotels, but smaller, charming, vintage, kids friendly or “green” hotels that offer unique decor, delicious breakfast and attentive services, as well as a good value, Phranakorn Nornlen is an option you should consider. We are a small hotel situated within the Old Bangkok district, near the Grand Palace, Reclining Buddha, Khaosan Road, China Town and the river shuttle stop at Thewet Pier.
