I've only been here twice. My first time was as the meeting point for bar hopping and second was for dinner.
The decor is really nice. The ceiling is beautiful.
Food- Not so good. I had the fish and chips which was OK but my sisters chicken pot pie was not good at all. She's usually not too picky but in this case she couldn't even finish it so she had to send it back and ordered the same thing I had.
We only went here because I got a http://Restaurant.com gift certificate. Definitely wont be back for food, maybe just for drinks, since I live within walking distance.

This Pig 'N Whistle cafe, located near the Egyptian, was part of a chain stretching along the West Coast. Established in Hollywood in 1927, before movie theater candy counters became standard, this restaurant with its sweets and soda fountain served theater patrons and shoppers alike.
The detailing on the front marquee includes a dancing, flute-playing pig - the establishment's trademark. Judy Garland celebrated her sixteenth birthday here. Occasional sightings of current celebrities have also been reported.
Oh yes - the food. It's Hollywood touristy quality.
