Pinsere Roma

Via Flavia 98

I don't even know how to describe how much I loved the pizza (or "pinsa") from this place! They make personal oblong shaped pizzas that range from 3-4 Euros made fresh and served straight out of the oven with a crispy but light crust and loaded with tons of delicious toppings. The place is bustling with Italians on their lunch ...

I would pass by this church every day on my way to school, and it always took my breath away. The facade is not as extravagant as some other churches in Rome, but just knowing that it is one of the oldest of its kind is impressive enough. The square is great to sit in and people watch, since it's ...

    Borghese Gallery

    0.57 mi from Pinsere Roma
    37 reviews

There is a lot to see in the Borghese Gallery but the main reason to reserve tickets to visit is to see the unbelievable Bernini sculptures, particularly, Apollo and Daphne, and Poseidon and Persephone. The exquisite skill demonstrated in those works is amazing. The thin leaves growing from Daphne's fingers and the pliant flesh on Persphone's thigh makes it almost ...

    Via dei Condotti

    0.91 mi from Pinsere Roma
    27 reviews

Via dei Condotti is absolutely gorgeous and elegant, and based on Gogobot's starring system, I absolutely "loved it." That said, I probably wouldn't pay an extra visit here since I can't afford any of the shops and I already saw the Spanish Steps. Still, it's close to Stazione Spagna, so taking the Metro here is easy enough.

Another Michelangelo's masterpiece is found in this particular church; and it's the statue of Moses. Not so grand but the details are incredibly impressive, that even Michelangelo himself said: "Talk Moses! TALK!"

One of those treasures that's all too common in Rome, Santa Maria della Vittoria houses the incredible Bernini sculpture "The Ecstasy of St. Theresa" so circumspectly that you'd never know it was there. The church is beautiful, but the sculpture itself, like so many of Bernini's works, is truly masterful.
