    Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

1 Schenley Park, Pittsburgh, PA 15213-3830
    11 reviews

Phipps is a great place to spend an afternoon. It's conveniently located between the Pitt and CMU campuses across from Schenley Park. Parking isn't too bad, though it's not ideal. There are probably 100 metered spots close by, but once those are full, you'll have to walk for quite a while. It's common to see several wedding parties lined up ...

    Mount Washington

    Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
    4 reviews

Take one of Pittsburghs two inclines up to Mount Wahington! Here you see the 3 rivers. Maybe if your luck it will be firework night at PNC Park (the Pittsburgh Pirate baseball stadium) and you can watch them light up the sky over the beautiful city skyline!

    Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh

    5 reviews

Really fun restaurant and atmosphere; the beer cheese and pretzels appetizer is my personal favorite. If you don't like this place, it is in the heart of the South Side, so there are plenty of other bars/restaurants nearby. Great place for young people (20s-30s) especially.

    Rivers Casino

777 Casino Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15212, United States
    6 reviews

Nice to finally have a casino in Pittsburgh. Free parking is nice. There is no cell phone service in the casino though and it's easy to get lost until you become very familiar with the layout. Free soft drink stations along the walls. Buffet is delicious with a variety of food styles (Asian, seafood, Italian, American, etc).
