When people say Pizzarium is expensive, they mean compared to other pizzerie. But Pizzarium is not just any pizzeria! They devote themselves to the art of breadmaking, and the toppings they use are more unique than anything you'll find anywhere else.
I ordered a slice of ham and minced fish (I don't actually know the specifics since he spoke so fast) and a slice of Parmigiano-Reggiano, tomatos and herbs. Both were fantastic, though I really wish I went with something wilder with the latter option. You can really taste the bread.
Service? Fantastic. The guy behind the counter was all smiles, explanations and friendliness. The cassiera could've been a bit more warm, but hey, you get used to this after awhile... Roma.
The pizzeria is located just a block away from the Cipro Metro, so it's incredibly easy to get to if you're Metro-friendly.
If you like pizza, you must come here. I'm already thinking about my next visit.Recommended for:Foodies

I got a recommendation from a fellow traveler about Pizzarium. It was close to our hotel in Rome so we went there our first night. It was the best pizza slice I had in Rome. We ordered the one with tomatoes and it was delicious. They reheated it in the oven for us and cut it into even smaller pieces for our enjoyment. The crust was crunchy and the flavors magical. All of the other pizza in Rome does not compare! I only just found out that Anthony Bourdain endorsed this place on the "Layover" and I am glad it wasn't too busy when we went.
The place is small but the service was friendly. I don't speak Italian and just pointed at what I wanted and paid with a smile. They weigh it and charge by weight. Super easy and reasonable prices for delicious pizza. If I'm ever back, I'm definitely having more pizza at Pizzarium.

Behind the Vatican walls, near the Cipro metro station. A favorite of the local TV food shows, a lot pricier than your normal pizzeria but it didn't disappoint one bit. Pizzarium is known for its fresh ingredients and the daring combinations but for me the devil is in the dough and the crust, absolutely incomparable. You must try at least 3 or 4 different slices to have a true measure of the place; my favorite was the roast beef and corn...yes, on a pizza! it sounds daft but it works! The rabbit with tofu and seaweed, I could have probably gone without, but, hey, you only live once, right?
