I've eaten my fair share of pizza al taglio across Rome, and I have to say that Pizzeria Florida serves some of the best, no-nonsense slices in town. Prices are low and the flavor is high. The Margherita was particularly tasty, though I suggest not eating it folded lest you want to have sweet juice dripping all over your clothes.Recommended for:

Some of Rome's best pizza al taglio is at Pizzeria Florida. An added bonus is its central location on Largo Argentina, perfect for grabbing a trancio (slice) while you're in transit. And, since you control the size of the slice, you have added control on the price!Recommended for:

Rome has got to be one of the top cities in the world for street food on the basis of pizza a taglio alone, and Pizza Florida does this amazing treat exceedingly well. Across from Largo Argentina, where Roman ruins and stray cats mingle, it's a great place to satisfy your hunger without emptying your entire wallet or spending two hours at table. The pizza is salty, crusty, and covered in a variety of tempting things like zucchini flowers, buffalo mozzarella (yes, it is made from REAL buffalo milk!) and truffles with zucchini. But if you're not feeling so adventurous, the regular margherita (sauce and cheese) or rossa (just sauce) will still make you feel oh, so very good.Recommended for:
