Planet Hollywood is definitely on my Top 5 Favorite Hotels located on the strip for so many reasons. Great food, great shows, great hospitality, and the lists could go on and on. I've seen quite a few shows there. One being "Hitsville", which a Motown Revue show that will have you out of your chair clapping and singing along fro. beginning to end.
On my recent visit to the Resort & Casino I went to eat happy hour at the Mexican Cantina, and the food was great. My tacos and nachos came out steaming hot and were delicious. The staff there is really nice, and gave me recommendations when I couldn't quite make up my mind.
The buffet I'v been to before for brunch and the Spice Market is a great place to indulge in food and drink. At Planet Hollywood there is so much to do under one roof. Shop, eat, take in a show, listen to live music, have a cocktail, gamble, and lounge by the pool just to name a few . The rooms are great as well with beautiful views of the Las Vegas strip and staying in this hotel will put you basically in the center of everything located on the Las Vegas strip!

I have never stayed at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, but I sure do love coming here!!! Love the colors, gaudiness, and the girls who dress in burlesque outfits and act as dealers and gogo dancers on the casino floor. It's all about the Pleasure Pit, where you can play blackjack, roulette, and other casino games, while you get super distracted by the gogo dancers gyrating to the beats of hip hop music right in front of you... after they're done, the come down, deal you cards, and take your $$$. The Spice Market is one of the best buffets in Las Vegas, also. It's cheaper and offers a wide variety of different cuisines. In addition, the Earl of Sandwich is another of my favorite stops. Excellent sandwiches if you're looking to save money. Overall, Planet Hollywood is an excellent casino to play at and offers great eye candy. At least when you lose your $$$, you won't feel as bad ^)^

If you are traveling with a group or a younger crowd, this is the place to stay. The two-bedroom suite that our group stayed in was very spacious, modern, and chic. It was nice to have a kitchen and dining room to eat and convene in. The beds were also super comfortable. One of the rooms had a small couch where you can lounge in or convert into a pull out bed. Also, each room had a flat screen tv and the living room had a huge HDTV theater projector with a nice sound system. The room was not the only great this about this place, but it was also the location. The hotel was in the middle of the strip, close to other shopping areas and clubs. Our group had an awesome time staying here and would recommend it to others.

One of my favorite places to stay on the strip. Central location. 24 hour Earls. Clean rooms.
Opt for a suite if you're fancy. The projection TV alone is worth the price of admission, along with the kitchenette, full size fridge and sound system. Perfect for pre-game parties in the room!

My cousins had a suite here that was enormous, it felt like an apartment and the view was great. Not too difficult to navigate. On the down side there are not a lot of late night food options, I was starving and was reduced to a hot dog + chips. My aunts did well gambling and the aside from the smokey smell, they hotel seemed well-maintained.Recommended for:Family Travelers

At one point, this was a Westin hotel. Then it wasn't. Then it was. Now I've lost track.
I really like this hotel. It's got great shopping, huge rooms, terrific location (next to Paris, across from Bellagio, etc.) and best of all the reason why they get 4 stars, is because they are very reasonably priced.
I've stayed in their "junior suite" (huge huge room, but it's not a suite) for $69 before.

I had visited this place before when it used to be the Aladdin Hotel and Casino a few years back. I enjoyed my stay then, and this time is no exception. My family and I were here from a Tuesday through Friday, so we didn't encounter too much of a crowd. However, the number of guests had a huge increase come Thursday, which is usually when the weekend rush hits. The hotel features beautiful decor, a great buffet (which happened to be voted Best in Vegas last year), and I couldn't help walking around the Miracle Mile Shops nearly everyday. We took advantage of the valet parking, which is almost a must if you want to stay out of the sweltering 3 digit heat. At times, the service was a little slow, but the staff was prompt and curteous. They even gave us bottled water while we were waiting for our car. We were also lucky to have a room with a view of the entire Bellagio fountain and the hotel's pool area. Only downside? The housekeeping staff could've been a bit more friendly. My dad was a little irked that they didn't really greet us as we would walk by. He would be the one who would end up saying "Good morning" first. I don't think he wanted to tip them either, but my mom said to do it anyway out of common courtesy. Haha! Other than that, I wouldn't mind staying here again.
