There is no doubt these apartments are great bang for your bucks. For the price of a normal hotel room you get a 1000+ sq apartment with full size kitchen, separate bedroom and a large bathroom equipped with both shower and 2-person Jacuzzi tub. You even get your own washer and dryer. That makes it a great place to travel with family. I also like the fact that it is a non gaming hotel and located slightly off the hustle and bustle of the strip.

I have had great experience with Expedia VIP hotels and was quite disappointed to find out Platinum offered so little in comparison. 2 drink tickets were all they had given us (and sadly they couldn't even locate them on my first night of arrival). That was hardly a VIP treatment consider how readily free drinks are available in Vegas.

House keeping was mediocre. Don't expect your kitchen to be cleaned thoroughly and tub to be scrubbed during your stay. The quality of the tissue and toilet paper was downright horrible. It was so rough I felt like rubbing sandpaper on my skin.

On my last day of stay I was sick and ordered room service for a late night snack. I waited for an hour, finally called up the front desk only to find out my order was mysteriously dropped through the crack of their system. They did try to make things better by offering us credit for breakfast the next morning. Still. I wasn't thrilled.

A group of us picked up a deal on travel zoo and booked 4 rooms here for a long weekend in June.

About 1/2 mile from Caesars, and 2 mins from $3 craps at Ellis island this was a perfect base of operations for our excursions. The rooms are all suites. Some with washer/driers some without. Each of the rooms had a convertible sofa in the living room, fridge, freezer, kitchen, TVs and the usual hotel room amenities.

The hotel pool area is perfectly located to avoid most of the searing sun in the hot months. Pool side bar and a polite waitress checking on our needs.

For those that like to combat the guilt and decadence with some workout time, there's a small cardio gym with treadmills, elypticals, seated bicycles and some free weights.

Late check out available til 2pm

Make use of the flavored water in the lobby before heading out to the strip!

The Platinum Hotel Sign me up! I first tried the Platinum in 2008 normally I would not splurge $180/ night for a hotel, but I was feeling stress and my bud offered to drive to Vegas for a one night trip.

The Platinum is a few blocks off of the strip, close but not quite walking distance. This hotel is valet parking only and has no casino. This suite is set up like apartment in a city or a time share. It comes with two beds, 2 tvs, a jacuzzi, living room and full kitchen plus his and hers bathrobes. Very clean and nice not super fancy compared to Venetian or other luxury hotels. Great view of the strip!

Highly recommend. Great for a large group and maybe a hotel party. I think you only allowed a limited amount of guest, but shh it will fun. Full kitchen with appliances and setting. Bring food to cook and chill your alcohol.

    Customer service needs to improve.
Rooms are spacious and comes with everything you'll need.
It's like living in an apartment.
A little off strip but I like that.
No self parking, valet online. I park next door at the Tuscan casino resort.

This hotel was simply lovely in everything from the lemon- and strawberry-infused water greeting guests at check-in to the intimate and atmospheric bar on the first floor. The fifth-floor pool is partially indoor and partially outdoor and comes accompanied by a hot tub, cabanas, umbrellas, café tables and a cozy fire pit. The room was delightful and had a full kitchen and a counter complete with bar stools, plus a television in both the bedroom and living room. There were also several closets within the suite and a terrific view of the Strip. The roomy bathroom had a separate whirlpool tub and floor-level shower. My only complaint was the confusion regarding the location of the fitness center—it recently moved from the fourth to the second floor and the signage on both floors regarding the change was unclear. Everything else was just wonderful, though.

Booked a room for 2 Queens and a Sofa.

Checked in with my 5 girls and was told at the front desk: "Sorry, we don't have any 2 Queens rooms available, we can only check you in for a 1 King and a sofa."

    WTF.

    I paid a 50% EFFING deposit for a 2 Queens room and I still get a 1 King????

    Totally GHETTO-FAB.

Anyway, we had to be creative with the room space obviously and thankfully the room was $99 a night, so we shook it off.

Bathroom was spacious, the kitchen was handy, and the bed was comfortable. Very basic accommodations. Nothing too exciting. Taxis will need to be flagged down since it's not a trendy hot spot.

    Lemonade out of lemons, right?

RECOMMEND only if they get you the room you actually paid for.

I'm really torn about this place. The rooms and accommodations, quite adequate. The price, also excellent. However, it's off strip by a block or so and it's just far enough that you really need to cab everywhere... Also, it's non-gambling which means you have nothing to do when you head back to the hotel.

The suite we got had a mini kitchen. I am assuming that's the case for all the rooms, but can't be sure since I wasn't the one who booked it.

I probably won't stay here by choice since you can find great prices on the strip as well and that's just so much more convenient in my book.
