One of the most popular beaches on the southern coast, a bit crowded, limited snorkelling, but parking and showers. If you make it all the way to Kauai, you should aim to do much better than this.

One of the most gorgeous beaches on this island! Not too crowded and good for snorkeling! Great beach to take kids as well as the waves aren't too big!

This beach is rocken rather well for the most part. There are some great tidepools, a lifeguard tower, a great kids zone, and a nice park (picnic tables and playground).

Overall this is a great place. However the concrete round tables next to the playground are chipping badly. In spots all the way to some rebar. Additionally the dangerous thing (WEAR WATER SHOES) is that there are sharp lava rocks under the water. Step on them at your your own risk!

Some great views, a lot of chickens, bathrooms and rinse off locations (granted I didnt use either or go into the bathrooms) and some beautiful vistas.

You can even see whales just offshore here (I DID!). Overall my daughter and I really enjoyed it here.

Perfect beach for people of all ages. The kiddie "pool" is a calm portion of the beach surrounded by rocks where you can let your kids play without worrying about the waves or current. There is also some good snorkeling a little further down the beach, and if the tide is right you can walk on a sandbar out to a small island.

There are also gazebos with BBQ grills, lights, and power outlets which make for a perfect spot to have a relaxing BBQ on the beach.

Nice sandy beach. Waves are huge and a lot of fun. Not good for small children, but fun for older children and adults. I tumbled ashore once with legs up in the air! We saw fish while snorkeling, but the water was not that clear due to huge waves.

This is the beach where everyone comes to hang out, bbq, play in the sand and water. A very family friendly beach and park, restroom facility and plenty of parking (altho it does get super busy on the weekends).

Poipu Beach is one of the top rated beaches on the garden island. Kiahuna Plantation is the only beach front condo on the South Shore of Kauai. At this Special Place (that's what Kiahuna means) you can go surfing, glide on top of the ocean on your stand-up paddle board, enjoy boogie-boarding, body-surfing, or just swimming. If you don't want to lay in the sand because of too much sun exposure, you can sit on the vast green lawn of the Kiahuna Plantation under a palm tree for shade, read a good book, and/or have a drink...

I love this beach! This is a nice beach to lay out and go in the water! It does tend to get busy at times and there is plenty of parking if you are not staying at one of the local hotels nearby!

Nice but Poipu is a bit touristy...love that most of the tourists go here because the North Shore is a bit more chill.
