This pedestrian bridge over the Tiber has a fine view of the neighboring Vatican as well as much of the rest of the city. Unlike London and Paris, which navigable rivers, very little actually goes down the Tiber but the bridge is nice.

The connection between Rome and Castel Sant'Angelo, the place where the Pope retired, mainly in the past, to get safe from enemies' attacks. When the weather becomes good it is full of bancarelle, painters and people selling gadgets.

The Sant Angelo bridge is cuts between the Tiber River and is a connecting point from Rome to Sant Angelo Castle. The bridge was completed in 134 AD and is another lovely bridge among many in Rome.Recommended for:Art & Design Lovers

Ponte Sant'Angelo is the bridge across the Tiber River leading from the centre of Rome to the Castel Sant'Angelo, once Hadrian's tomb, then home to the popes, and now a museum. The most striking feature of the now pedestrian-only bridge, are the ten statues of angels which line it.

The Ponte Sant'Angelo is by far my favorite bridge in Rome. Ten sculptures of angels line this bridge, leading to the Castel Sant'Angelo. I loved strolling across, gazing at each one, reliving the Passion as all like to do from time to time... right? No? Okay.

Really spectacular at night...A bit of a tourist trap during the day though, particularly with hawkers and scalpers encouraging you to buy prada and gucci ripoffs, but the view is incredible. We went for an evening walk along the ponte and saw the Castel SantAngelo and the sculptures along the bridge lit up: stunning!

The Ponte Sant'Angelo is a richly decorated pedestrian bridge across the Tiber. I've stayed a couple blocks from the bridge and would cross it in the evening looking for dinner. With all the great food I needed the exercise.
