A modest little beachside town, set along the Great Ocean Road - Port Campbell is the perfect place for a mini getaway from urban life. Coming from nitty gritty Melbourne, wind your way through rainforest and secluded beaches, private coves, koala-filled eucalyptus trees, and past the stunning Twelve Apostles, and Port Campbell is your haven for a night's rest - or more. Spend the morning at one of the cafes, lounge away the afternoon on the small beach, then take a sunset hike through the bluffs to watch the sun dip below the Pacific waters. Port Campbell is a small town and is the base area to visit the Twelve Apostles. It is very impressive from a geological perspective. The towering karsts jut out in the bright, turquoise-colored ocean, while the waters crash loudly along the shores. It's a highlight among the many neat sights to see in Australia.Recommended for:
