A really stylish hotel with a cool contemporary decor and great service. From check in to check out everything worked flawlessly here. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Rooms are elegant and cozy. The bed is super comfortable and the bathroom is also great, roomy and with great water pressure. The lobby is on the 8th floor and it has ...

    Hotel Monaco Portland

    Hotel Monaco Portland

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    9 reviews

Despite being part of a large, chain hotel, Hotel Monaco does a really good job of personalizing each guest's stay. Add a central location and an always alert staff for a great Portland hotel.

    Benson Hotel

    Benson Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    9 reviews

Benson was a really important guy in Oregon. You even see his face at the Multnomah falls on a plaque. This hotel has a lot of history, and actually, the front desk can provide you a two page guide on the history of the hotel. All i remember is that the wood they used is now extinct and most importantly: ...

    RiverPlace Hotel, A Kimpton Hotel

    RiverPlace Hotel, A Kimpton Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    7 reviews

In what I consider the exact perfection location in Portland (right on the water in a beautiful, relatively quiet setting but just a few minutes' walk from downtown) is this Kimpton Hotel. Well designed and with a fantastic restaurant (with a view as good as its locally sourced food), it's got it all.

    Hotel Modera

    Hotel Modera

    Hotel Class:
    4
    7 reviews

Located just off the main downtown area, Hotel Modera is a modern trendy boutique hotel in which you could imagine seeing Andy Warhol sitting in the lobby on an uncomfortable fifties low back chair. Not situated in a particularly attractive building (this whole area was rebuilt in the fifties and sixties), the hotel's large lobby looks more like an office ...

    Embassy Suites Hotel Portland Downtown

    Embassy Suites Hotel Portland Downtown

    Hotel Class:
    3.5
    7 reviews

This is not your cookie-cutter Embassy Suites (with atrium). You notice that right away when you drive up to what once was the historic Multnomah Hotel. I think that that the Hilton chain did a very nice job preserving much of the architecture and providing some historical information to their guests via a booklet in the room and a nice ...

    The Heathman Hotel

    The Heathman Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    5 reviews

I felt like I was on the outside of an inside joke when I was greeted by the doormen of the the Heathman iin full “Beefeaters” uniform. Just like the British ones that adorn the London tower, these “guardians of the tower”, set the mood for the hotel’s Old English ambiance. The dark-wooded lobby is small, but leads to the ...

Hotel Vintage Plaza - a Kimpton Hotel

    Hotel Class:

    4 reviews

Enjoyed this place so much! The rooms were so comfortable and immaculate. I adored my animal print bathrobe and my Yorkie-baby Fergie loved her special treatment! We loved the Coordinator of Dazzle, Kevin, too! The Vintage Plaza is a gem with nightly wine-hours hosted by the most charming members of the hotel staff featuring an array of wineries. The staff ...

    The Sentinel Hotel

    The Sentinel Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    4 reviews

This might be my favorite hotel in Portland. Those with an interest in art, history, and architecture will love it, also there's a Starbucks right off the lobby and a lot of common area spaces. It used to be called The Governor Hotel but just changed its name in March 2014 to Sentinel in honor of the little guys who ...

    River's Edge Hotel and Spa

    River's Edge Hotel and Spa

    Hotel Class:
    4
    3 reviews

This place is everything you’d expect from a luxury hotel and spa, it’s situated on the Willamette waterfront, has valet-only parking, and has a waterfall IN the lobby. It’s luxurious. Not to be un-grounded and as any true Portlander can appreciate, the hotel is eco-friendly as well (it’s LEED certified). The rooms are modern and classy without being too overdone, ...
