A really stylish hotel with a cool contemporary decor and great service. From check in to check out everything worked flawlessly here. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Great location at the down town. We stayed there on January 2011. They do charge 33$ for overnight parking. It is a walking distance from many attractions. very Clean. I loved the bed, it felt so royal. The room is not so big but the design is beautiful, very detailed. My husband and I both had our own bath robs ...

    Benson Hotel

    Benson Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    9 reviews

Perhaps the best-known hotel in Portland, the historic Benson is an elegant, old-fashioned alternative to the slew of more modern, sterile hotels in downtown Portland. The older part of the building was constructed in 1912 and a second half was seamlessly added on in 1959. Both sides feature similarly priced and appointed rooms, although the older ones are a bit ...

    RiverPlace Hotel, A Kimpton Hotel

    RiverPlace Hotel, A Kimpton Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    7 reviews

Sure it may not be as "cool" or "curated" as the Ace hotel downtown...but it was a hell of a lot more comfortable and a nice gateway to the beauty of Portland's river side.

Fantastic luxury boutique hotel situated very conveniently to public transport and has chef David Machado's 3rd restaurant right on site. Between inspired French and Italian cuisine, luxurious pillow top beds, and beautiful art, Hotel Modera is definitely a hotel I'd highly recommend to anyone visiting the city of roses (aka Portland)

    Hotel deLuxe

    Hotel deLuxe

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    6 reviews

Formerly known as the Mallory (and still referred to as such by most Portlanders), the Hotel deLuxe is an excellent bargain just a few blocks from downtown Portland. This old-school hotel was, like much of Portland, built in 1912 and retains much of that early 20th century charm to this day. Since the new management has taken over, they’ve revamped ...

    Embassy Suites Hotel Portland Downtown

    Embassy Suites Hotel Portland Downtown

    Hotel Class:
    3.5
    7 reviews

This is a lovely hotel. One hundred years old this year, the hotel is a reflection of the elegance of a bygone age where architecture matched quality and service. This is not a stuffy hotel, but is light on every floor and in its well appointed rooms and hallways. In fact the quality of light throughout the hotel is first ...

    The Heathman Hotel

    The Heathman Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    5 reviews

Known as an iconic boutique hotel of Portland, the Heathman Hotel delivers everything the discerning guest would expect. This hotel is probably the most famous, and maybe the oldest, of the boutique hotels in downtown Portland. Among the inner downtown hotels, all of whom are competitively priced, the Heathman is my pick of the boutique hotels. Located in the heart ...

    The Sentinel Hotel

    The Sentinel Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5

I feel like this hotel is a secret, the way it’s outside masquerades as just another beautiful building. Once inside I saw the grand foyer with a ceiling ornate and gold enough to have been made for a King, but the lobby was warm and inviting with chairs around a fireplace and books- like Grandpa would be down in a ...

    River's Edge Hotel and Spa

    River's Edge Hotel and Spa

    Hotel Class:
    4
    3 reviews

One of Portland’s best-kept secrets, the relatively anonymous and surprisingly luxurious River's Edge Hotel & Spa is a quiet, low-key place to stay only a 5-10 min drive from downtown Portland. The rooms are spacious and elegant and have stylish bathrooms with tubs. The hotel is spread over five floors and many of the rooms here have views of the ...
