    Jupiter Hotel

    Jupiter Hotel

    Class:
    4
    10 reviews
Very Good! - 82% of guests recommend

Great price, great location. It's an old motel that looks straight out of the 50's that has been redone and made into a cool modern hipster hotel. There's a great bar and there are always lots of bands playing downstairs. A pretty hip place to stay. Make reservations early though. It books up pretty quickly.

Very Good! - 82% of guests recommend

This is a big bustling, mainly business, Hilton hotel located in the Lloyd Center area of NE Portland close to the Oregon Convention Center, Rose Garden, quite central to the rest of Portland. It is a spacious, modern, not too noisy, very active place to be especially at lunchtime. This is not a cozy hotel, at least at the lobby, ...

Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

the Nines is a glam, chic, sexy, cool (and all other synonyms) type of hotel. I scored an excellent deal on the Nines' website during a sold out weekend for stay one night get the second for 50% off in a city view deluxe corner room, which came out to about $400 total. Prior to arriving, their concierge sent me ...

Very Good! - 84% of guests recommend

I'm a big fan of the Kennedy Theater and its comfortable vintage couches and chairs, table room for a pitcher of stout and my personal pizza. I have been to every other part of the school though, having had friends who worked there and taking every single person I ever knew to see it. From the heated pool, hotel rooms, ...

    Shilo Inns - Rose Garden

    Class:

Close to the Convention Center and Rose Garden in Northeast Portland, this motel is a comfortable place to be with a good atmosphere. The rooms are nothing special but for the low to moderate rate it’s a good deal in this area, and may be an economic alternative to the other hotels around the Convention Center. Rooms are clean, air ...

    Motel 6 Portland Central

    Motel 6 Portland Central

    Class:

Mediocre - 60% of guests recommend

After visiting the downtown Lloyd Center area Motel 6 I was expecting more of the same. Although not in the best part of town, this Motel 6 seems quite nice in comparison. These are cheap motels and I don’t expect much, but this particular Motel 6 is more professional and courteous than the one at Lloyd Center. The rooms also ...

    Benson Hotel

    Class:
    4.5
    9 reviews
Excellent! - 85% of guests recommend

Perhaps the best-known hotel in Portland, the historic Benson is an elegant, old-fashioned alternative to the slew of more modern, sterile hotels in downtown Portland. The older part of the building was constructed in 1912 and a second half was seamlessly added on in 1959. Both sides feature similarly priced and appointed rooms, although the older ones are a bit ...

In the southern end of downtown Portland, near Portland State University, Hotel Modera is an unpretentious, modern hotel with really friendly staff. The architecture of this boutique hotel has an early-1960s look to it (mid-century modern as they call it) with interiors to match. Formerly known as the Mallory (and still referred to as such by most Portlanders), the Hotel deLuxe is an excellent bargain just a few blocks from downtown Portland. This old-school hotel was, like much of Portland, built in 1912 and retains much of that early 20th century charm to this day. Since the new management has taken over, they’ve revamped ...

Ask any Portlander what the most haunted spot in town is, and chances are that she will point you in the direction of the White Eagle. This old-school tavern and lodge was built in 1905 and was once a brothel. It still has an old-time lodge feel to it that harkens back to Portland's past as a logging and port ...

Located just opposite a strip-mall (not a bad thing considering the strip-mall in question has a great selection of places to eat), the Aloft is one of the sleeker of Portland’s airport hotels.
