Given that it’s perhaps the warmest and most hospitable place to stay in town, it’s no wonder why the six-room Portland International Guesthouse is often full. This place is located in the heart of trendy Northwest Portland in a lovely old house. It’s also very affordable, considering that you get free Wi-Fi, access to a sitting room with TV, plenty of books to borrow (including a great selection of titles on Portland), and access to a kitchen that’s always stocked with all the tea, coffee, milk, juice, and bread you could eat. For safety reasons, the kitchen doesn’t have a stove, but there is a microwave and fridge for guest use, as well as a small patio you can breakfast on if the weather permits. The rooms here share bathrooms (understandable at such an affordable spot), which are kept in tip-top shape.Recommended for:

This is an interesting little B&B centered in the trendy area of Northwest Portland. Clean and well maintained it has an intimate atmosphere that fits in well for the area.
Within easy reach of the amenities of NW Portland, the Pearl District, it is also in walking distance (I think so!) of downtown Portland.
This is a basic no frills B&B and is priced accordingly.
The rooms are good without much fuss (bathroom down the hall!), and there is a snack/kitchen area that is open 24 hours per day with the proviso of expected quiet after 10 p.m. There is also an apartment rented by the week with a separate entrance from the Guesthouse for people who prefer independence.
The management is very friendly and keen that all guests are treated with the best customer care. This helps them experience a high return customer rate.
Considering the area and the room price this is a deal!

Great place.Clean, Friendly, quiet and very well located for parks, downtown and Forest Park. Walking distance to all of these and the river. Friendly staff and always a bunch of interesting guests here. I stay here every time I'm in town.
