i thought u may like this beach. Oeiras is the nearest beach area to Lisbon. Completely neglected by tourists, a fantastic place to explore, wonderful beaches, historic buildings, delightful semi-tropical parks and great restaurants. i hope this helps.

Belmonte was the most delightful surprise during our trip to Portugal. The nearby Pousada is marvelous and once in town we were enchanted with the Synagogue, Jewish Museum, Brazil Museum, and the Olive Oil Museum. A small town in the border with Spain, famous for its wine, Alvarinho. You'll find a small castle inside the town's medieval wall. There are a lot of activities in the area, as landscape is beautiful, great for outdoor activities. Lovely place!

Brilliant place, has amazing beaches and good for tourists but also has the peoples town aswell, lovely local restaurants and not far from Faro either. There's loads to do locally though.
