Nice hiking trail to see the Falls in MA
Marketplace, Crich, Derbyshire, UK
Melty Critic's rating:
Crich is a lovely village in itself and I've been a fan of visiting since I was young. However, I had never attempted this walk before. The walk begins just down the lane next to the Post Office and takes you past a school. It takes you through fields, woodland and farms and you can (depending on the time of year) marvel at the wildlife such as sheep, horses, redstarts, butterflies and squirrels. On my visit I was fortunate enough to see many ... read more
amazing things. Lambs, a field of wheat that was visually stunning and beautiful views across the local area.Unfortunately for us, it began to thunder and we got drenched. This also meant that the trail was intensely muddy, a warning to anyone going out in inclement weather. Because a lot of the walk is uphill I can sure tug on those tendons getting stuck in all that mud. After making it over a few fields full of sheep we arrived at an amazing location. The ruins of Wingfield Manor. Brilliant for photo opportunities! All in all the walk was 6 miles. I recommend it to those who like walks, but not for the unfit due to it's uphill nature in places. I also recommend good walking boots or wellies to contend with possible mud. (Let's just say I had my boot sucked clean off and I ended up squelching the rest of the way.) Their second location in Honolulu, this small shop inside the Kapalama Shopping Center in Kalihi is actually bigger than their Fort Street Mall branch. They offer poke bowls as well as sashimi plates. Their fish is quite fresh, as they get it directly from the fish auction

This comfort brunch is worth a try for their huge delicious portion. You will most likely be eating for three at this rate... We ordered special banana french toast, chili omelet, and corned beef hash. All came with tasty sides of toast, grits, hash brown, muffin, or fruits. I was impressed with their grits ( I am a grits lover) as well as their blue muffins. It was freshly baked, moist, and spongy. The service was attentive and extremely ... read more

Had a marvelous time with Pro Gogobotters!! Great event horsebackriding with Katy and Mandy courtesy of #GogobotSD and #Gogobot. 90 minute trail ride on my horse named Tuck was a wonderful experience seeing nature from above a horse. Would like to come back with family and friends. This place is also great for events like weddings, debuts, and quinceñeras or just a picnic on the grounds. It does not feel like you're in San Diego County when ... read more

Mark Twain almost drowned here, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power almost emasculated it but Mono Lake remains one of California's under appreciated treasures.

There's so much to do and see here. You could eat your way or drink your way around town. Lots of shopping and art too. And the architecture is fabulous. Not the most bike friendly town but there's no shortage of tours and tour buses as well as ordinary buses to jump on - well worth a few days here!
Diane Austin's rating:
What a great place to visit! The beach is wide and has the beautiful white, Florida sand and attracts a good following year round. Easy access is provided to the beach by the county right-of-ways. Surfers are plentiful, good and fun to watch, although the waves can be a bit unpredictable and are not guaranteed each day. Posted hours restrict dogs and dog walking to early mornings and after 5pm - nice if you want to sunbath without them running ... read more
around you. If you like dogs, the 5pm rush when the locals bring all their dogs back out is enjoyable. Clean beaches and great bike paths and walking areas down near the pier combine for a thriving night life of bars, hotels and beach side restaurants. The locals are friendly to visitors (some homeowners will even place free water coolers out in their yards so beach-goers can grab a drink as they walk to or from the beach). It all adds to the charm of Jacksonville Beach.

Always wished to see a castle in the clouds, and this is it! The loop route of the Scott bus takes one from Sintra train station straight to the doorsteps of this place of dreams. After purchasing tickets at the store (combined tickets with Sintra Palace, Pena Palace and various other places can be purchased here), one can enter the pathway up to the actual castle. The trail is a very enjoyable hike, the paths are surrounded by beautiful flower ... read more
beds and the freshest of mountain air. Once at the foot of the castle, the beautiful view of the castle tops are joined by dreamy fogs that creates a surreal feeling of the castle transcending the clouds. The castle itself requires a bit of climbing but well worth it, the view on top is amazing, where one can gather a panoramic view of Sintra.

Plantation Bay. Months before our trip, mom and I booked at this hotel at Cebu city. We were so excited because this will be for my sister's birthday celebration. From the activities to the facilities to the accommodation of the staff and to the killer view from your hotel room, you'll surely feel at home in this place. How can you not love the "indoor beach" concept that they made? Pure genius! No regrets for getting so dark, I mean, for getting ... read more

This is by far my favorite cheap slice of pizza in SF. It's not as greasy or overcooked as Arinell and it's still flavorful. After I came back from NY, I felt this was closest to what I had there from an affordable pizzeria in SF.

Lee Abbamonte's rating:
Lotus of Siam is legitimately one of the best Thai restaurants in the country. It is hidden off the Strip in a little strip mall but always packed. Get there early and come hungry. The dried rice, beef jerky and shrunken noodles are to die for...seriously. They also have an extensive wine list and of course Thai beer. Trust me, if you go to one Asian place in Vegas-this is the one!

44 Ochre Point Avenue, Newport, RI 02840-6906
"The Breakers" was built between the years of 1892 and 1895. This magnificent National Historic Landmark was the summer home of Cornelius Vanderbilt II, his wife and seven children. I must say, the most jaw-dropping mansion in Newport, with 70 rooms, and has over 65,000 sq feet of living space along with a 13 acre lawn overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
