Roy Choi's newest restaurant in la did not disappoint. Located in the line hotel in k-town, past the swanky bar, lies a Mecca of deliciousness waiting for any hungry passerby. The decor is reminiscent of early ninties- from a distance it looked like confetti or gum stuck to the walls, on closer inspection they were pressed leaves. The food? Great! Sizzling Korean pork, steamed egg, cold noodles (the one with house made beef jerky is a must try), the pancake was a perfect perfection of Korean pancake. Korean fried rice was crispy edged and addictive. And the showstopper- a huge hot pot of bubbling spice- we got the old school- bulgogi meat, fresh shisho leaf, onion, glass noodle, jalapeño and Korean goodness, very rich and meant to be eaten over rice. Way too full to even think of dessert. Totally worth the trip.Recommended for:

This was an awesome gogobot dinner with Audrey and the rest of the rockstar la peeps. The menu was delicious as we had an awesome white kimchi, a great old school hot pot which had plenty of meat and and an egg dish that will blow your mind. The squid was just as good. To wash down this great delight was a curry infused drink that had a great kick on the way down.
Great dinner, great company. Thanks Audrey for setting this up!

Amazing new restaurant by Kogi truck owner, Roy! I was drawn in my the uni cocktail which was delicious. They have some amazing hot pots here. I recommend the tofu soup, kimchi fried rice and ahi poke salad! Must try new spot in ktown!
Update: came back for a Gogobot event and had a few more recommendations - old school pot,
White kimchi, egg dish and the squid was also amazing. For the seasonal drink, they have a Kim chi infused cocktail that's refreshing and to die for!Recommended for:

pretty nice little spot hidden in ktown, it has the good old time feel with r&b music playing and the staff is super observant. The mixed drinks are amazing. the food is pretty good especially the bbq pork. the bimbim noodle is different since its noodle and not rice. we tried the old school noodle but it is quite expensive but feeds alot.
