Everyone says that Berthillion or Amorino's are the two best ice cream places in Paris...Everyone is wrong.
Pozzetto's is amazing! They have a limited amount of flavors, but those are consistent and incredibly good. The pear gelato tastes just like a pear, with pear texture, but better! The chocolates are chocolately and the nut flavors are pure and wonderful.
Cannot recommend highly enough!Recommended for:Foodies

Pozzetto is a small, famous gelato shop in Paris, run by Italians (4th district, Marais). It's not a typical shop where the flavors are displayed with toppings spread over the selections, tempting you into ordering more than you can eat. It's more like a restaurant, where you're given a menu of about 8 choices (no pictures, even), all equally good. They're famous for their Gianduja (chocolate + hazlenut) and Pistachio. I tried another gelato shop nearby to compare and Pozzetto is definitely creamier. Many say it's the best gelato they've ever had. I don't know if I could make that statement but it was really, really good. A definite must try when in Paris.
