Another of my favourite areas in the city, this cozy, beautiful neighbourhood, became one of the most trendiest part of the city. Design stores, great esplanades and caffes ( altough the views are not the same from Castelo, are also nice), some nice bars ( Pavilhao Chinês is one i suggest).

Poison d´Amour is a beautiful bakery right near the Principe Real park. I stumbled into the bakery while looking for a place to get a good coffee. It's worth going in just to look at all the pretty pastries (some are covered in gold). A lovely place for coffee and delicious treats that will have you feeling like Marie Antoinette.Popular withTrendstersFoodiesLGBT

One of the best ice creams I ever tried, def the best in Lisbon! It seems you are in Italy having a gelatto when you taste the Santini's ice cream. The place is nice, there is a lot of tables, nice place to meet friends and chat. It's locate in Chiado.Popular withFoodiesLocalBudget

In the Castelo S Jorge area, this is one of my favourite places, Started as a Circus school, then opened the bar, restaurant and beer garden , initially to support the school costs, then due to location and great atmosphere, turned out to be one of the best spots of the city. One of the best views on the city ...Popular withLocalFoodies

This place is amazing! Islamic decor when you first walk in, what with all the tiles and arches and central fountain. Upstairs, there's a faded ballroom and a couple of restaurants / a bar in Portuguese style. Great for people watching on the street below as tourists run the gauntlet of waiters.

This is my favorite restaurant restaurant in Lisbon. Great traditional portuguese food in an amazingly beautiful setting, spot on to every detail. A bit expensive, bur worth every penning. The chocolate mousse is a must!Popular withFoodiesTrendstersLuxury

A bar with one of the most stunning views over te city. This is located on a terrace above a parking space in calçado do combro, right next to bairro alto. It might be tough to find this place as you have to go inside the parking building and go up to the 7th floor. They also serve hamburgers. Nothing ...Popular withTrendstersDesignLuxury

A really fun pharmacy-themed restaurant located in an old pharmacy museum where all the servers wear surgical gowns and the chef surprises you with a 5 course Portuguese meal with dessert. The cocktails have prescription like names and my receipt even came in a pillbox. Go for the food, but more for the interesting apothecary atmosphere.Popular withFoodiesDesign

Bocca is large, bright, and modern. The tables in the front, nonsmoking area look through a window into the kitchen, so you can watch the chef at work. There is a large and attentive staff, ready to jump in whenever you need anything. The sommelier recommends great Portuguese wines. While the appetizers were enjoyable, the entrees were not as successful, ...

A place to go for fado! Great authentic music, very good food, not a touristy place… It’s pretty expensive but well worth it. If you can, linger after the main performance is over… have another glass of wine… This place is often visited by fairly known fado artists who often come to eat here but then end up performing on ...Popular withLocalFoodies

Probably the best meal we had in Lisbon. Absolutely 5 star modern cuisine and fantastic value at under 60 Euros for 3 courses for 2 people with drinks. Every course was delicious and creatively presented with a few surprising ingredients (the hamburger royale comes with a perfectly poached egg, pitta, tzatziki, dill, bacon and salad). The fabulous chocolate desserts came ...
