Possibly the most exclusive property I have ever had the privilege of visiting, anywhere. The multiple villas at the Pradha excel at discretion, privacy and intimate delivery of every possible comfort you can imagine. The kitchens are amongst the most modern and elaborate I have seen on Bali, and they are attended by a personal chef that comes to your villa to prepare meals. Likewise, massages, spa therapies and any other service, drink or meal you can imagine comes to you - in a walled, private bungalow of flatscreen televisions, decadent linens and ungodly beautiful plunge pools. My one complaint about the Pradha (and thus my 4 rather than 5 star rating) is that it is not oceanfront, and ocean access can be tricky considering the adjacent big resorts such as the Oberoi. I love the pampering and intimate setting, but I'm also a social guy that likes to get out, enjoy the beach and hit the town. The Pradha excels as a 'date night' retreat, but loses a bit of it's charm when car transport is the default means to get anywhere outside its exclusive walls.

This property is a great deal. I'd highly recommend it for anyone who wants luxury on a budget or for families that need a lot of space.
We had a two bedroom compound -- two individual one bedroom villas + a communal living room and plunge pool.
Each individual compound is very secluded / quiet and tastefully decorated with a fusion of modern and Balinese design elements. Bed rooms are basic but attractive. Bathrooms are quite large (two sinks, a bath tub, rain shower). The plunge pool was larger than I had expected (must have been 30-40 feel in length). The communal living room has a kitchenette making it possible to cook if you prefer a night "at home."
Wireless internet is available (but very slow -- which is normal for Bali). Bring your own adapter if you don't have a local plug. I ended up charging through the shaver outlet. Also, note that the hotel does not have umbrellas (and you will likely need them).
Service was adequate but not exceptional but at this price you can't possibly complain. Also, be aware that the property does not have a central spa facility (though in-room service is available at good rates) or business center.
Villa Pradha isn't on the water but is within walking distance of the beach, great restaurants (e.g., Ku De Ta) and it is very close to the main shopping street in Seminyak.
If you are okay giving up the ocean view, this is a great option.
I certainly prefer the rooms here over those at the far more costly Legian. Waka Maya in Sanur offers similar value but in a more Balinese style. I prefer the Oberoi for the ocean front views and would definitely recommend the Four Seasons if you are up for a bit of a splurge.
