Awesome restaurant, with a sister restaurant in the city. Really interesting dishes we eat kosher and it's the best solution for a few days of meatless eats..

    Dlouhá 33, Prague-Praha, Czech Republic
    5 reviews

Pretty good food (nothing spectacular in my opinion, but solid), huge space (good for groups of friends), and good beer. Open late, so that's a plus.

Featured in No Reservations, U Medvidku is a popular restaurant among locals and has been around for hundreds of years. Medvicku also specializes in X 33 Beer, a Czech beer with one of the highest alcohol content in town. The food was good and the atmosphere is lively.

    Smetanovo nábřeží 14, Praha 1, 110 00 Hl.m. Praha-Prague 1, Czech Republic
    3 reviews

In Atmosphere's courtyard it's easy to forget that the hectic bustle of the Charles Bridge and Old Town Square are mere minutes away by foot. Extra cheap beverages and surprisingly delectable pub food mixed with Atmosphere's laid back attitude makes it the perfect place to escape from the fracas of the more frequented streets. It can get a little rowdy ...

    Bakeshop Praha

    Kozí 918/1, 110 00 Prague 1-Old Town, Czech Republic
    3 reviews

This is probably the one place in Prague that is exempt from the usual lack of inflation, but it is beautiful and well worth a stop by if you want to take a break form your sightseeing with a coffee and a pretty wee cake. When I was there in the Winter they had cupcakes with delicious iced snowmen on ...

    U sudu

    Vodičkova 677/10, 110 00 Prague 1-New Town, Czech Republic
    3 reviews

U Sudu is a bit like an iceberg. The tiny bar that is visible from the street does not hint at the charming, cavernous cellars that lie beneath. Bring your spelunking gear though, cause the cellars just keep going down. There is a bar at the very bottom to reward your bravery, which is why U Sudu is the best.

    Cafe Slavia

Smetanovo nábřeží 1012/2, Prague 110 00 Czech Republic
    3 reviews

The coolest cafe I've ever seen...huge, spacious, Art Deco design throughout ...the orange flavored hot chocolate was my favorite. They also have very good sandwiches. This is what all coffee houses/cares should aspire to...

    Bohemia Bagel

    Ujezd, 16, Prague 118 00 Czech Republic
    4 reviews

I thought this place was mediocre at best. The bagels are always old and stale. It takes about 2 hours to eat there because everyone who speaks English in Prague comes there hungover. I would recommend just going to a grocery store to buying your own food. Or better yet if you are in Prague on a Saturday, go to ...

    Potrefená husa Hybernská

Dlážděná 1003/7, Prague 1, Czech Republic
    2 reviews

This restaurant is great especially for students and backpackers and budget travelers! When I was studying in Prague this was often the restaurant of choice for my friends and I. The restaurant ambiance is cosy, especially in Winter. They serve up cheap and hearty traditional Czech food for a very reasonable price!

    Mánesova 1442/78, 120 00 Prague 4-Vinohrady, Czech Republic
    2 reviews

We absolutely loved this restaurant. Had reservations at their sister restaurant "La Finestra" known more for their meat dishes. Had one person in our party that does not eat meat, so the concierge at our hotel recommended Aromi. It was probably the best meal we had in Prague. The atmosphere is unpretentious, decor is very beautiful and comfortable. The host ...

    Restaurace u Veverky

    Eliášova 324/14
    2 reviews

Lived for a year in Prague and this was hands down my favorite restaurant. Outside the main city area but easily accessed by metro. This place serves authentic, hearty, delicious Czech food. Walk through the smokey bar and make eye contact with a waiter. Some English is spoken here but only begrudgingly. But relax, know that once you get a ...

    Prague, Czech Republic
    3 reviews

The goulash was okay (I don't think I could tell excellent goulash anyway, it's not really my thing but, you know, when in Prague...), the beer was excellent (is there somewhere in Prague where it is not?), the prices very reasonable.

    Maly Buddha

Úvoz 46, Praha 1, Hradčany Prague, Česká republika
    2 reviews

Arteries clogging from all the fried cheese and pork knees you been eating? You best get into Maly Buddha and fill up on healthy Vietnamese fare. Great vegetarian options and plenty of vegetables on this menu - sometimes an anomaly in Prague.

    V Jircharich, 12, Prague 110 00 Czech Republic
    1 review

Went there in 2004 and had a great meal, but because that was so long ago, I'm eager to hear if Kmotra is still as good as before :)
