Featured in No Reservations, U Medvidku is a popular restaurant among locals and has been around for hundreds of years. Medvicku also specializes in X 33 Beer, a Czech beer with one of the highest alcohol content in town. The food was good and the atmosphere is lively.Popular with

U Sudu is a bit like an iceberg. The tiny bar that is visible from the street does not hint at the charming, cavernous cellars that lie beneath. Bring your spelunking gear though, cause the cellars just keep going down. There is a bar at the very bottom to reward your bravery, which is why U Sudu is the best.

Lived for a year in Prague and this was hands down my favorite restaurant. Outside the main city area but easily accessed by metro. This place serves authentic, hearty, delicious Czech food. Drawing from a range of culinary influences, Fraktal offers up exquisite modern food that runs the gamut from Czech to Mexican. Eating not your thing? No worries, Fraktal is a great place to enjoy some of that Pilsner beer that the Czechs are known for.

Despite its proximity to Old Town Square and all of the tourist traps around it, U Rudolfina is a fantastic authentic Czech pub, that is full of Czech people and charges Czech (more reasonable) prices. Like many other Czech pubs, it gets much bigger when you go underground. The food I had there (traditional cheese) was very good and, of ...

This place might have some of the best duck in the world, As someone who lives in Beijing that is saying something. More upscale than typical Czech restaurants but not touristy either. Service is impeccable and the staff know everything about the food preparation and source of their meat. Try the foie gras with ginger bread and cranberries, or the ...Popular with
