The food sold here is delicious and price quite reasonable. The place they decorate is clean and easy to find the food you want to buy. They serve hot and cold drinks too.Recommended for:

At first, you want to hate Pret A Manger just because of the sheer AMOUNT of them scattered on every corner of the city. But then one day you have only a little money on you and you are desperately hungry, and it happens to be closest thing. So you do it. Then there is no going back. Delicious, practical tasty food that is evidently compiled with quite high quality ingredients.Recommended for:

Yummy, affordable and convenient (they are everywhere)! They have a wide selection of sandwiches and other food items that are packaged for dining in or take away. My boyfriend's personal favorite is the crayfish and rocket sandwich, it's a great snack for only about four quid.Recommended for:

Reliably fresh, not too expensive food in London. Some of the sandwiches are creative and surprisingly good. Different interesting drinks too, and fabulous deserts. Great place for a light lunch as you explore London.

I absolutely love Pret. It's a simple sandwich shop that's not too expensive that carries a wide variety of yummy foods. The avocado wrap or the chorizo wrap aren't bad either. I really need to cave in and try a halloumi and falafel one already. My only critique is that I think that £1.49 for a tiny chocolate brownie is a bit too much. If they marked that down to at least £1, they might get a bit more sales of them. They're delicious, yes. But not worth £1.49 given their size.

Pret is basically a sandwich shop and not really great one at that. It's also a bit over priced, plus there's a fair amount of weird British flavors. It's not terrible, but it's pricy and if you are American you will wonder why all the fuss for this place.
