    Santouka Ramen -- Culver City

Delicious ramen in the Mitsuwa market. I enjoy the ramen here, albiet it's a little oiler than my other favorites. I always get the medium sized miso ramen. It comes with a soy sauce egg. The noodles are always nice and chewy. Sometimes, if I'm really hungry I get the combo that comes with a little rice bowl - usually ...

I've been a fan of Mendocino Farms since when they first opened at the Water Court in downtown LA. It's great to see that they are spreading all over town!! They make my favorite sandwiches. The drunken goat, vegan shawarma and their banh mi are my favorites. It's a great place for lunch!

Garlic knots is what most people remember here. However, their pastas and house wine special is also super appealing here. Sit either in the courtyard or inside the restaurant. During the warmer days, definitely choose courtyard. In the evening, you might sing a long to Dean Martine while enjoying your dinner

Eating here is a fun and unique experience. Some of the flavor combinations they use are just out of this world! I love the kitchen fries and the chu-don't-know-mang. OMG you've gotta try it. Food is served on fun little plates and seating is picnic-style, so you might find yourself sharing with your neighbors if you're open to it. This ...

    Wurstküche - Venice

As you're driving down Lincoln, passing through Venice, you might never notice this place. Wurstkuche storefronts remind me of a warehouse and their decor is somewhat industrial feeling. Turn onto Vernon Avenue to find street parking in the neighborhood, which is almost always available. As for the food, they specialize in sausages - everything from a classic bratwurst to exotic ...

One of my favorite spots! Located on Main Street in Santa Monica. Amazing Asian-fusion food with incredible seafood. The restaurant itself is chic and lively with great cocktails. They also have a great, lively happy hour with half price sushi.

Loved everything about this place! I hated sitting in the cold alley but it was an interesting 'wtf?!'experience. The place isn't hard to find thanks to their artsy-graffiti exterior. So sad that they were out of blossom squash(?), their most popular pizza. The guy who works their suggested the pomodoro crudo, which had garlic and basil instead of squash. The ...

One of the best ramen places on the west side. Their broth is solid and tasty and their octopus balls are good as well.

Good food, on the higher priced side, great beach location, outdoor and indoor seating available. I recommend: The Yellow and Red Beet Salad (with Laura Chenel Goat Cheese, Arugula, Pickled Shallot Vinaigrette) The Sand Dabs- served with Garlic Spinach, Smashed Yukon Potatoes, Lemon Caper Brown Butter and be sure to check out the dessert tray!

One of my favorite sushi places on the west side. It is a pretty lively (and somewhat loud) spot, but the food is good and the atmosphere is fun. It can get crowded, so call ahead if you can.

We went bike riding and my friend wanted to try this place out since he saw it on TV. The Kahlua pork crispy egg rolls were very good, and the turkey sandwich, the Tia I believe was good. We missed the breakfast time though because we sat down after 12pm. I will definitely stop by again. Service was awesome!!!

This thai food restaurant is very reasonably priced and serves quality food. Located about four blocks from the Pier this is a great place to stop in either for dinner or lunch. It looks deceiving on the outside with the dark windows but inside has a great bright atmosphere

I love this giant Whole Foods. It's probably one of the largest and it's a great place to get lunch if you work in the area. I love the Asian food bar! For some reason it seems that they always have Chinese people making the sushi. Hey, whatever works!

Really damn good BBQ. Go crazy with the sauce, but expect poor service if you have a large group (this made zero sense to me, too).
