Tranquility. Beauty. Zen. These are the words used to describe the Pacifica, an adult-only beachfront resort on the Pacific side of Cabo. Only downside is that you are not permitted to go into the ocean because of the very strong waves, but the gorgeous pools and swim up bar can surely provide relief.

God this place is gorgeous! Located on the Pacific Ocean side of Cabo San Lucas, this resort offers you desert mountains and ocean all in one. It is located 15 minutes outside of Downtown Cabo but they offer a free charter bus that shuttles guests to their sister resort on the main side of town. Once on the main side of town, guests can use the facilities at their sister resort including the beach chairs that are lined up right in front of the water (Sea of Cortez). This water is different from the water back at Pueblo Bonito. It is warmer with large waves. A good area to partake in some beach activities. And once one is ready to head back to relaxation, you can hop right back on the shuttle and head back to the tranquil resort. The resort is so quiet compared to those on the main side of town, truly relaxing. We loved the pool bar and the beach beds right in front of the ocean. The resort also offers daily classes like yoga and other activities, but I think our favorite thing to do was to sit on our balcony and watch the ocean. It was amazing. The resort is eco-friendly and saves energy by shutting off the power and ac whenever there is a door open or whenever you leave for long periods of time which is great except for when it got really humid and muggy. But otherwise, great resort, small but nice rooms with cool balconies, gorgeous amenities, great food at their restaurants and lovely people. I would definitely return (heard now they offer an "all inclusive" option).Recommended for:Spiritual Seekers
