One of the coolest places I visited while in Punta. I spent the day on a friend's boat, anchored just off shore in the bay with ~50+ other boats. I'm not sure if I would recommend a trip to this island solely for seeing the island, though.

The Monumento de Ahogado (Monument to the drowned) is located on Brava Beach in Punta del Este. The fingers and thumb coming up from the sandy beach is a bit weird, but it is dedicated to all of those who have drowned at the Brava Beach.
