This Quality Inn is right in the heart of Buckhead and is just minutes from both Lenox Mall and Phipps Plaza with a ton of restaurants and entertainment options nearby. The day I visited the hotel lobby was filled with actors who were auditioning for a commercial. The staff seemed to be a bit overwhelmed juggling the audition guests and people checking into the hotel -- it was quite a wait for me to be shown a room. Some of the rooms are accessed from the outside and sort of have a woodsy vibe. They're spacious and suite style so each guest can have some privacy. The rooms each have their own tv, but they are older, and there's a flat screen in the common area. The couch is a queen sized pullout. The room itself was nice and it was clean but it just needed some updating. The room had a bit of a stale smell. This is a great option for anyone on a budget who'd like to be near the Buckhead area and still wants a bit of space to stretch out.

Here’s a cool hotel in the Buckhead area. What I thought was most interesting about this hotel is its construction – the structure was built almost like in a cabin style, with lots of painted wood stairs and walkways that are tucked alongside a bunch of trees. It feels pretty unique in a part of town that’s pretty built up.
The rooms are set-up for extended stay visitors, and I imagine they’d be pretty great for families, too. In the room I was in, the living area was completely separate from the bedroom area.
Here’s what you won’t be impressed with: some of the appliances in the room were showing their age, particularly the bulky CRT televisions. Though despite the age, I think the room was well maintained and clean.

The first thing I noticed when I walked into the lobby was the unusual number of guests at the front desk with room issues. To her credit, the woman at the front desk was doing her best to accommodate every guest, but she was simply outnumbered and overwhelmed. The suite was actually bigger than I expected—with three beds and a kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and dishwasher. There were only plastic dishes and utensils in the kitchen (and no pots and pans for cooking) so I don’t really understand the purpose of the dishwasher in the kitchen, but obviously it was a big kitchen. Some of that space would have been put to better use in the bathrooms, where the toilet and tub were almost touching. The suite was a little musty and one room faintly smelled of smoke (and this is a smoke-free property). I also noticed one corner of the building is covered by a blue tarp, but it didn’t look like ongoing construction—it looked more like it was there to cover up a leak in the roof. Yikes. The hotel is decent, but between the suspicious tarp and the frazzled staff I know there are better places to stay in Buckhead.
