If you are in Beijing you have to try Peking Duck. There are a ton of places you can go. In my visit I had Peking Duck a couple of times and they were all very good. Quanjude is pretty well known for their Duck, and it is very good. The service is quick, and the menus have pictures which can be helpful if you want to get something besides Peking Duck and don't speak English

If you're looking to eat the finest Peking Duck, look no further, as Quanjude is as authentic as it gets. Through windows, you can see how the chefs prepare the ducks, and as part of the "show", they carvers wheel out the Peking Duck an carve it in front of you. Delicious, tasty, and savory! You have to stop by here if you're visiting Beijing!

The food at Quanjude is fine, but nothing special. You can get much better roast duck at many other restaurants around town. My main reason for not liking this place very much is that some of the outlets of this chain restaurant have pretty lousy service to back the bland fare they serve. When packed noise levels are through the roof.

How good something is doesn't really hit you until you realize that you can't stop thinking about it even many years later. Quanjude's roast duck is definitely that. It's been 5 years since my previous visit to Beijing, but I can still vividly remember each bite of the ultra-crispy skin and incredibly tender duck meat. Quanjude's roast duck is what I compare all (Chinese or non-Chinese) duck dishes to, and unsurprisingly, none have even come close.

This is the best/most expensive place to eat Beijing roast duck, and it is worth every RMB. The duck here is all prepared a special way and fire roasted. Each duck that comes out has a card that goes along with it, where you can look up where and how the duck was raised. If you ever go to Beijing, this place is a must-go. In addition to the roast duck, there are other dishes to compliment it, but honestly, just get the duck.

Relatively expensive but worth it. When done right, Peking Roast Duck is an amazing dish -- and they do it right at Quanjude. If you're not sure "how to" eat it or what to order, just ask. It's almost like a tiny taco with a unique and powerful flavor.
