By far, my favorite and most memorable part of the trip to Quebec City. Quartier Petit Champlain is an area of Old Quebec, namely, the oldest commercial district in North America. Today, all of its historical facades are preserved with brand new stores and restaurants on the sides of the street. Walking down the narrow street of la rue du petit-champlain is a treat in itself, the feel of old European city is brought back in its full force, much to see, much to explore, and much to appreciate. The unique artisan shops scattered around the side of the street are worth every bit to explore. Discover the Fresque du Petit Champlain on the way, a part of an effort to place a series of wall arts reflective of the history of old quebec. Incredible.
