    Rydges Lakeland Resort Hotel Queenstown

Excellent hotel and not overly priced either. I stayed there in February 2012 for 2 nights and had very good service, and considering I was on crutches, the staff looked after me well.

    Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa

    Class:

    3 reviews
Excellent! - 93% of guests recommend

If only I could afford my taste. The Sofitel is heavenly. I spent one night there at the end of a press trip, but I loved it. The accommodations were so spectacular that I came back for a hot stone massage after I moved to a less expensive lodging. The Spa is first rate too.

    Glebe Apartments

    Class:
    4.5
    3 reviews
Excellent! - 95% of guests recommend

The Glebe is the quiet achiever in downtown Queenstown. From the outside you'd never know the bounty of goodness that resides inside. Looking more like a same-same three star, once you see the rooms that idea gets blown out of the water. With a variety of rooming options available a good range of budgets are catered for. The lower level ...

    Trelawn Place

Trelawn Place is magnificently situated about 5 minutes scenic drive from central Queenstown. It’s perched on a plateau on the edge of the Shotover River with stunning views down the valley to Coronet Peak ski field. The communal hot tub alone is worth staying here for – it’s located right on the edge of the plateau above the same views ...

    Novotel Queenstown Lakeside

    Novotel Queenstown Lakeside

    Class:
    3.5
    5 reviews
Excellent! - 85% of guests recommend

You can't get much more central than this. Not close to, but in the heart of Queenstown The Novotel is a good option for travellers without independent transport. Unlike many of the accommodation options in Queenstown this one feels like a big city hotel with a slightly cold demeanour. The rooms are one size too small with the generic mini-bar ...

    Mt Rosa Lodge

    Mt Rosa Lodge

Mt Rosa Lodge may be a thirty minute drive from Queenstown, but it might as well be a million miles away. Forget the hustle and roar of town - this lodge is paradise on earth for those seeking the opposite. Nestled in the heart of Gibbston - the pinot noir capital on New Zealand this is the obvious choice of ...

    Azur

    Azur

    Class:
    5
    2 reviews

Although on approach, Azur seems set in quite an unlikely position on the five minute drive from town through suburban Queenstown, when you reach the 3.5 acre private hillside property with it’s uninterrupted views of nothing but the glistening lake, the surrounding peaks and the azur blue sky, it all makes sense. Each private, open-plan villa comes with an incredibly ...

    St Moritz Queenstown

    St Moritz Queenstown

    Class:
    5
    2 reviews
Excellent! - 87% of guests recommend

While the entrance to St Moritz down a concrete-filled driveway is decidedly unappealing the beyond that entrance is quite simply beautiful with it’s timber and schist interior. The hotel is high enough above town to be afforded heavenly views of old steamships drifting by as you’re dining over a fine, elegant meal; yet not so high that the five minute ...

Situated five minutes drive from central Queenstown above the magnificent Shotover River Canyon, this place completely exceeded my expectations! Queenstown Top 10 Holiday Park Creeksyde

Queenstown Top 10 Holiday Park Creeksyde

    3.5
    3 reviews
Good! - 78% of guests recommend

Creeksyde offers both camper van hookups and backpacker accommodations. I chose it in 2008 because it was inexpensive and a top spot in New Zealand for anyone trying to travel with a lower carbon footprint. They emphasize recycling and try to reduce their impact on the environment. The accommodations aren't fancy but are quite comfortable - especially for the price. ...

    Browns Boutique Hotel

Excellent! - 95% of guests recommend

With an almost Mediterranean feel this little boutique hotel sits in a category all to itself. With the architectural look and feel of a hotel transported from Europe, this place should feel at odds with the mountains it sits beside - but somehow it fits in just right. You couldn't ask for a better location right in the heart of ...

    The Ferry Bed & Breakfast

    The Ferry Bed & Breakfast

    4.5

Ferry B&B happily feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere, being 15 minutes drive from central Queenstown, beside the Shotover River. Despite it’s remoteness it’s actually smack bang in the middle of everything Queenstown has to offer – from wineries and ski fields to the more adrenalin or urban options. Originally a hotel built nearly a century and a ...

    Chalet Queenstown

    Class:

Excellent! - 94% of guests recommend

In an alpine town like Queenstown you'd expect half the buildings to look like little Swiss chalets - not so, this is the only one. That's not the only thing that sets this place apart - it also boasts a stunning interior and perhaps the friendliest staff in town. The Chalet has been around for years, but it took a ...

    Pounamu Apartments

    Class:
    4
    2 reviews
Excellent! - 90% of guests recommend

Pounamu (poo-nam-oo) is the Maori word for jade, the natives’ stone of choice for building their tools and weapons. But there is nothing hand built about these apartments which are clean, modern and fresh – and with their blonde wooden floors you feel like you’re in Scandinavia. The clean lined apartments are well fitted out with plenty of mod cons ...
