The only spot on Montana that has a full liquor license. That being said, their cocktails are crafted perfectly. Get the Gimlet!
Great chill atmosphere and a relaxing spot to enjoy a drink midday.

I can't believe I ordered a salad... XD
I came here during lunch with my boss and the waiters all greeted us with a big smile. Compared to the other cramped restaurants in Brentwood, R+D is very spacious. The decor is way trendy, laid back, and has a nice bar area. Furthermore, the restrooms are definitely interesting, with urinal rooms and outside sinks!
Onto the food:
Dings crispy chicken sandwich- They come out with 3 sliders and each slider is made well with the crispy chicken filet with tomatoes, lettuce in between. It's like chick-fil-A, just more expensive. XD
Newporter salad- After eating burgers and pizzas for 3 days in a row, I decided to get myself some fiber. The greens were mixed well with the roasted chicken and bacon. Also, the honey mustard or poppy sauce, goes perfectly with the greens. For a salad, the proportions were generous, it was like eating a non-carb sandwich.
Overall, the menu is limited and the dishes are kind of pricey. However, I really enjoyed the venue and compared to the other places in the Brentwood area, the proportions were pretty generous.

Veggie burger was great. Very different in a good way. It doesn't come with any sides though, so if you want fries etc. you'll need to order them separately. Friendly service and nice ambience.

How is it that we walk in and never have to wait for a table??? Must be going at the right times, although hearing people in the waiting crowd saying "it's always like this" upon exiting just makes me laugh.
petite sirah is nice
addicted to the veggie burger still
dip dou is a do!
Also tried the chicken meatball and spaghetti - it was good, but I'll stick to an Italian place if I want spaghetti.
Non fat latte was ok.
Bathrooms are really nice, Who doesn't love a co-ed restroom area??? ;)
Parking sucks! Find a meter on Montana somewhere if you can't walk there

*BEST GINGER BASIL SIDECARS EVER MADE**
Wanted a refreshing but strong drink after some shopping on Montana.
Sat at a front bar table, overlooking the street. Great for people watching.
Mesh black modern curtains blocked some wind.
Our awesome waitress and bartender took care of us without any rush. Friendly ambiance.
The Ginger Basil Sidecar did the trick.
After two of these, I was knocked out.
Meaning, I went home and took a leisurely nap.
Will return for lunch and cocktails.
