Great sushi spot for anyone in the downtown area. They have an extensive menu including sushi, teriyaki chicken and beef, salads, soups, and more. Stop in for happy hour and you'll love their specials!! Service is great and so is the atmosphere. They also have a full bar area where you can meet a client, or a friend to just grab a drink.

RA Sushi is a trendy chain sushi restaurant - this one is located in the Gaslamp disctrict. It's great for large groups celebrating a birthday or couples going on their first date. The vibe is sexy and hip, and the menu is filled with funky sushi rolls and fusion dishes.

If you are into fancy rolls, go here. They have some house special rolls that are out of this world in both presentation and taste!
Also really fun ambiance for large groups. Super trendy and a perfect spot for pre-clubbing grubbing.

This place probably doesn't have the absolute best sushi rolls in town, but they're very good and you'll be hard pressed to find a more trendy sushi bar in downtown San Diego. Ra is usually decked out with an urban crowd dressed to the nines having dinner before hitting the Gaslamp Quarter for a night out. The vibe inside is hip. Try the Viva Las Vegas Roll.

I would only go here for happy hour. The quality of sushi is mediocre, so it's not worth it to pay full price. It's definitely crowded at all hours of the day, and service was super slow the one time I dropped in for lunch. Don't come here if you only have an hour for lunch, it'll be a close call.
